A person who attends this schoolmust be very motivated because the classes are highly competitive. This person must also be able to adabt and to the highly theoretical coarses. Even though this school is academically focused it also has a large social network in which this person would have to become comfortable with inorder to fully enjoy UCLA.

Any person who is academically driven, and has good time management skills, while you can get away with studying every night of the week you will miss alot of the other experiences which I would define as social education and learning. If you are fun, outgoing, success oriented, and like to be in the city one minute, the beach the next and anywhere in between this a place you should consider.

A well driven individual who cares about his or her future, and their careers. Someone who has the desire to succeed not only in the area of monetary security, but in personal growth and understanding. A person who understands the importance of being socially active, and also the importance personal time/growth. Someone who likes to be active and have fun and equally, someone who wants to build strong friendships.

A person that does not mind huge classes that conforms you to the mechanical listen and take notes method would probably be successful at this school. Otherwise, someone that wants to go to a someone prestigious school but not actually learn anything.

Ideal students are those who are driven by a passion to make a change in the world, since the city of Los Angeles is not only a great place for opportunities to do so, but it needs a lot of work as well.

I believe that all colleges can be liked by the student. I believe that I would be content at any college as I am content at UCLA right now.

People who like the big city and don't mind being in a huge population. It would also help if the person had strong will/determination and was willing to work hard.

One who is ready to live in a big city. Although the school has endless opportunities for any taste (social, academic, etc.), one must keep in mind that Los Angeles is a huge, bustling city with people always on the go, in a hurry and not necessarily all that nice. This culture has to some degree been adopted by the university as well.

People who make friends easily, are open-minded, and get along easily with others will have a much easier time than people with social anxiety or shyness, who can really have a hard time making friends at first since the school's so big.

A UCLA student has alot of pride, loves sports, is here to work hard alongside the brightest kids in the nation, is competitive, and likes living in a big city near beaches and fun nightlife.

People attending this school should be able to have the movitation to study on their own.

Someone should only go here if they are driven, force themselves to do the best work they can, and are not easily intimidated. This school is huge, and if you aren't tough it can chew you up and spit you out.
