I consider the UCLA campus' architecture to be one of the best, especially in contrast with the "big-city" feel of Los Angeles. Some good examples of campus architecture are the world reknown Powell Library and Royce Hall. Many of the campus buildings are featured in hollywood films and popular tv shows because of their archetypical campus feel. Los Angeles is vastly populated and the culture is fast-paced and technology driven; along with these facets there is a strong emphasis on scholarship and success. The UCLA campus architecture is the embodiment of Los Angeles' scholarship and success.

Proximity to Hollywood, I plan to go into the music industry so having Hollywood so close and being inthe heart of LA gives me hope for my future.

School spirit because of the athletic programs.

The school I attend has so much diversity of people and cultures from all over the world. Many other campuses in schools offer this, but going to my school actually demonstrates and shows the true respect students and staff have for the diversity at my school. Encouragement of different cultures, different religions, and even different sexual relations is not critiqued by other students, or staff. That each individual can openly express themselves without feeling fearful, or with the less hesitation of their own personal safety. My school believes and encourages personal liberties and freedom expressed in any form.

Location- small college town but the city is only a 5 minute drive. So many opportunities for any interest, and of course SoCal weather does't hurt.

I would probably say the resources. There are many resources in finding your career, scholarships, organizations, and etc. The student needs to only seek out this knowledge and find it for themselves.

I would suggest that prospective students should go elsewhere. The culture at this school is based on hidden prejudices among all cultures. It is a diverse campus but the school culture is tainted by hidden racism.

Our sports program unifies the whole school! Going to such a big school, it's easy to feel lost ... but cheering for UCLA (especially basketball during March Madness) makes everyone come together full of pride!

I consider the best thing about UCLA is the people that go there. It just feels like everyone is there to study and succeed in life, but also to have a lot of fun by going to parties and just hanging out. I love the people i met here because we have so much in common.

The best thing about UCLA is its energy that you can feel all around campus, which comes from motivated and passion-driven students. Most people that I meet on campus are enthusiastic about something, whether it be a class, club, volunteer opportunity, or various causes. Despite all of the different ethnicities, views, perspectives, personalities and beliefs that come from a huge student population, UCLA still feels like a big family that is united in its school pride and motivation to succeed.

I think that the best thing about my school is the social life. At the University of California - Los Angeles, Students are so involved with extracurricular activities especially sports and athletics. At UCLA, you can always interact with other students and make new friends. People are just so friendly and the campus is so ethnically diverse which makes you interested in talking to other people and getting to know the other cultures around you and meet new people. The other best thing: the residence halls. It is very organized and it helps you make a lot of life-time relationships.
