Describe a day on campus you'll never forget.

The day on campus that I will never forget was the first day that I voted in a U.S. Presidential Election. There was so much anticipation and build-up leading to the 2008 elections. There were student organizations created just to support their respective favorite candididates. Some student organizations even offered shuttle services to take students for early voting to the off-campus locations. To see so many young people involved in the political affairs of the day was definitely something that I was really proud of. But the most exciting moment of the day was sitting in the dorm lounge with some of my other floor mates and friends and watching the results of that historic election. I will never forget exactly what that room felt like over flowing with excitement...and yes, there was a little bit of disappointment from some folks too(but somehow I don't remember that as much.
