Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Hannah

I think I've pretty much said my piece...

Stephanie

athens is the perfect town for a college.

Sam

UGA is amazing. I cannot picture myself anywhere else. I have never been happier and I am making the truest friends that I have ever had.

Anil

If you're on the fence about coming here, come on over. UGA is an AMAZING experience. I transferred here and the only thing I'm sorry about is that I didn't do it sooner.

Andy

There is a club or interest group for everyone here. No one should be scared of not fitting in. The only people we discriminate against are fans of other SEC teams!

Alex

UGA is alright. It could be better, but it definitely could be worse.

Lucy

Being from Athens, I always grew up thinking that I wanted to go out of state in order to try sooething different. However, I am very thankful that I attended UGA.

Amanda

To be honest, I didn't want to attend UGA at all. I only applied as my "safety school". I am from Seattle and planned on going to college out west. I used to be a competitive gymnast so I actually planned on doing collegiate gymnastics. When I hurt my back and quit, I still only wanted to attend a small school, preferably Catholic. The last week I could commit in March of 2006, for reasons beyond me I decided not to attend Seattle University, population 3,000, and instead go to UGA, population roughly 34,000. That might have been the best spontaneous decision of my life.

Sara

UGA is one of the greatest colleges in the country! There is something for everybody, and everybody loves it. I dare someone to come here and try to say they don't love it - it's impossible! It's the classic city!

Sara

Overall, I've been impressed with my college experience at UGA. I had lots of opportunities to learn, grow and make life-long friends. I would do it all over again if I could!

Meggan

UGA is whatever you make of it--seriously. I recommend drinking because this is a town where you want to make memories but you also want to get out of...drinking speeds things up. I also sometimes just drink once a week and have a great time cooking/singing with friends, b=working out at bodyplex, or just walking around this awesome city.

Davis

UGA A GREAT AND I WOULD NEVER GO TO ANOTHER COLLEGE

Wendy

UGA students HATE HATE HATE rival teams in the SEC... such as the Gators, Vols, and Tigers. GO DAWGS

Carmen

I absolutely love UGA and my college!

Jonathan

I know it's going to be hard, but don't let the conservative southern alumni keep the school from reaching its full potential as the next UNC or UVA. Crack down on the excesses of fraternities, incidents like the one that happened with the kid who died (he belonged to SAE fraternity) are due to the rampant drug use in those organizations, not alcohol consumption. The University cannot stay a good ol' boy refuge forever, and I think it would benefit the University greatly to stand up for academics and prestige instead of succumbing to the mediocrity that would allow the University to keep its allure to those who come here to have a good time instead of coming here to learn. The University has been great to me, and I, an honest southerner, just want the best for it.

Elizabeth

This school is GREAT - and with the academic level constantly rising - it will be a top public institution soon enough. Look out Chapel Hill, Texas, and Michigan! Also, with Atlanta nearby, there are plenty of post-graduation job opportunities and connections.
