People who think they do not have to study or put in time for their major should not attend this school. If someone does not want to have a social life, that is fine, but be considerate of other students who are trying to enjoy life while at college.

A person who wants an extremely small school and does not want an optimum opportunity for a great social life. A person who is not outgoing may also have a hard time getting to know people at the school if they have not been here since freshman year.

The school is so large that it's tough to say that there is any person who won't fit in here; if you can't find a place here, you won't find a niche anywhere. But, if you want to study hard science, this probably isn't the place for you.

Small town individuals...it's a big school!

I'm not sure there is a kind of person that shouldn't attend. From everything I've seen, everyone, all people of creed, color, relgion, etc. are accepted.

Maybe someone who is not social at all and just wants to work in labs, perhaps a serious engineer type

Anyone who is overwhelmed by too many people or large classes sizes.

A person who is overwhelmed by large groups/places

Someone who is liberal minded, eccentric, and someone who does not often go with the flow might not fit in at the University of Georgia.

Because our school is so large, there is basically a niche for almost anyone. However, from my perspective, anyone from a very sheltered background and overwhelmed easily probably will allow the stresses of a big school get to them. Obviously, alcohol is very large part of the culture at this school, but I know plenty of people who don't drink and are some of the most interesting people I know here. Hard to say, but overall, a person who isn't able to handle the small fish in a big pond situation probably shouldn't attend school here.

I don't believe that there is a type of person who should not attend the University of Georgia. I think that diversity is a key component of a quality college education, and that the more diversity that UGA has, the better school it will become.
