The fact that the U of M is a city of its own within a large city that has so much available for each person to do. Also, with it being so large it is easy to find a way to make it your own - there are so many options here.

The size is great. I love the huge atmosphere of the school.

I tell my friends how much time I spend doing school work. It is a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it when I get to my career.

The location and diversity offered by the very size of the school. We have everything on campus from experimental theater to traditional sports venues; from astromomy clubs to intra mural soccer events. If you are bored with campus the proximity to two great cities offers even more both for educational and entertainment . . . zoos, museums, clubs and places to just walk all on a beautiful river.

The research and internship/volunteer opportunities. There are a lot of classes and other ways to explore your interests and get involved with what you enjoy doing.
