Someone that is very social and does not have worries about money would feel right at home here. It is difficult to compete with the status of many of the students that don't have to work for a future life. They are mostly set up by mommy and daddy's bank roll, so be prepared to work hard.

Musicians - the music school is wonderful. Also those interested in research. There is a very good Environmental department and biology department. I think the school is diverse enough that anyone can attend.

Any person can attend. There are many different degrees, clubs, and sports. Music is a big thing at this school, so people who are interested in a music career should go here. This school covers every degree, so it is a good school for anyone.

I would highly recommend this university for anyone seriously interested in music or the arts. Both departments are extremely competitive and hard to get into, but if that is your dream then it is worth the hard work and time you have to dedicate to your studies.

This school is unlike the other Texas schools because our football team is not victorious anymore, but our basketball team is rather decent. "The reason to attend games would be for the tailgating prior and during" would be a typical student?s response. The University of North Texas is for people who like social gatherings, liberal and new ideas, artistic expression as well as a great music driven area. Many of the social events at the school are Greek life driven, which can be annoying to the non-Greek, but there is much to do besides Greek life.

Honestly, any type of person could attend this school. There is a very diverse culture here with many different social and racial backgrounds. One recommendation I would make though is to be ok with a more liberal view of politics.
