As a sophomore at Ursuline College, I must say that their is not a day that goes by that I wish that I had chosen another college. A friendly and easy to navigate campus with a ton of clubs and other activities to join there is always something to do. With a small student population and professors that are easily accessible it is a great place to get hands on learning but still provoking thought and insight. Here your degree is not handed to you, it is something that you and your professors all work toward in helping you get to your future goals.
It's a beautiful campus and lots of activities to do during the week and the weekends the campus is basically deserted. The food is good and the professor really care about students achieving their goal. If you decide to go to Ursuline make sure to check out First year to career and AIMS
IT'S AWESOME!!! I love it. I went to visit it this weekend and I think its amazing. I will be planning to go to Ursuline College if I get enough money to pay for it. I like the all-girl advantage also. Less drama equals more opportunities to learn. I believe I've found the right college and am planning to apply.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Ursuline College is 89%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself not to put off going to college. That was the worst decision of my life. I ended up getting married at 19 and that was a big mistake. I was divorced by 23 with a beautiful daugher. I started going back to school at the age of 31, so I was not able to experience the wonderful world of campus life. If I could go back in time, I would definately let myself know that there is a huge world out there and that I need to put my future in my hands and go directly to college. Jobs are really limited when you do not posess a college degree. You are to smart to let life pass you by! Make the most of your potential!
Everyone the staff , falculty, including the President work with you for you to succeed. They support you in what ever you need in the classes, career planning, job seeking and personal challenges. There is nothing they will not help you with. Classes are small and the professors get to know you as an individual, they care. It is not like being lost in a crowd of 200 students as a social security number. They know your name.
Honestly, I wish I had known how great their UCAP (Ursuline College Accelerated Program) program was. I spent a few years hopping from school to school trying to find something that felt right. When you are paying for your own education out of pocket you want to feel like you are actually learning something; not just regurgitating information for the sake of a piece of paper.
The person or persons who should attend Ursuline College are the ones who are devoted and well rounded and are ready to comitte to college life. College life is not easy and should be taken seriousley by those who are seeking to obtain a degree and a better life for themselves, the courses can be hard only for those who are not focus on their studies and don't plan ahead and set aside for time mangenment skills. College life can build and empower those with knowledge, determination and skills that can lead to a bright future .
The work load. Its very intense, and you have to be a strong minded person in order to handle it
It is amazing regarding what the question that you are asking is. It is also my motivation, for returning to nursing school, to obtain my Masters in Nursing and Education. I believe, and unfortunately have experienced, that there are nurses in the working world, who have returned to school and due to the lack of nurse educators, causing the class curriculums to be presented in online form, there is no one to weed out the nurses, who are only in nursing, for the money. The care they are giving is affecting our patient outcomes.
My classmates are very interested in actively participating, learning, and helping others.
Ursuline College is a place full of friendly and caring faces. All the people I have encountered on campus have gone out of their way to ensure that questions are answered, information is provided and recieved, and that the students are taken care of and encouraged.
My school is best known for its nursing program and art therapy progam. The nursing program is very competitive and very tough. The nurses that come from my school are recruited to hospitals before they even graduate.
i tell them about the good reputation of the nursing program. I alslo tell them about the teacher and how dedicated they are to the students.
Some of the teachers hold biases against specific students. Also, if you're a guy, there is a lot of girl drama that may not be very appealling to you. If you're a visual/hands-on learner, this school is not for you as an incoming freshman.
Ursuline teaches professionalism, evidence based reasearch, values and the ability to voice your opinions.
