What are some hot-button issues on campus?

One thing that attracted me to the campus was that it wasn't one big protest. When I visited Georgetown, it made me uncomfortable to see so many protests going on at once. I feel more comfortable at Villanova knowing students aren't fighting "the man" all the time. That being said, there is one issue that I hear students (and myself) complaining about often, as of recently. The university has issued a new plan to renovate the campus. The center of campus has had work being done to it almost all semester. It's pretty much done, but the center of campus has been closed off since the end of May. I think students are sick of seeing a construction site - we just want our beautiful campus back.
