There are 11 sororities (including 3 minority sororities) and 11 fraternities (including 3 minority frats). Greek life is present, but not in-your-face. If you don't want to be involved, you don't have to. If you want to be involved in Greek life at Villanova, I would take caution. Try to go into recruitment with an open mind. Don't listen to stereotypes of the different chapters. Unfortunately, a big part of Greek life, as I'm sure with any school, is tearing the other chapters down. A lot of stereotypes exist, like who is the best, who is the worst, who might get kicked off campus, etc. None of them are true. If you ignore what you're told and make your own opinions, you'll be fine.
