I wish I had known more about the dorm living before I came to Warren Wilson. I ended up getting all this extra 'space saver' and 'dorm living' junk that I didn't need. Warren Wilson encourages a 'use what you need' lifestyle and the dorms are well furnished. I ended up buying stuff that I had no use for by the end of the year. I wish someone had told me I really needed LESS than what I used to organize myself at home.
I wish that I had known more about how the community works here - it can be a wonderful community, but it is easy to get left out of the community. I wish I had known just how small some of the departments are. The interactions between professors, administration, and students is wonderful.
The faculty is somewhat limited.
