What is your overall opinion of this school?

The best thing about WSU is our recreational facility; it’s rated as one of the best in the Pac10. This massive two-story sanctuary houses full weight room, racket and basket ball quarts, full size swimming pool with hot tub, and many other features and programs. If I could change something about WSU it would be the on campus food options. The stores and stands are way over priced and the food quality is horrible. The school size is good, big enough that the whole school doesn’t know your business, but small enough that the environment is conducive to meeting some new people. When I’m on campus I spend most of my time at the library, it is a good spot to check emails and get some studying done in between classes, primarily because of its location which is basically right in the middle of campus. Pullman is a college town there is a number of coffee shops and bars to bring students up and down as needed. Although there are a good amount of social outlets the quality of food and service provided is very poor. There is this underline lethargic pulse that illuminates the community, established on the pretence that the consumer base is fixed and that good or bad food and service will not affect revenue. There is a lot of school pride even though are football team sucks alumni show up in groves with their beer hotdogs and of course R.V’s, which I might add is scary as hell these old guys have no concept of pedestrian right-of-way or school parking permits. The Basketball Team is good and at any rate students, alumni, teachers, and members of the community all love to support WSU sports.

WSU is a really school spirited place to be. I wouldn't change a thing about it because this campus has so much history and so much involvement in the world that there is nothing I could think of that would better the campus or surrounding community. Pullman is definitely a college town. With the big WSU campus pretty much being the middle of the town and there not being too much around, the school is really what brings the community together. One thing I love about WSU is that they are constantly working to make the campus a safer place. After the Virginia Tech incident, WSU put up alarm systems that can be heard all over campus as to keep the students safe and aware if their is something going on at the campus. One experience at WSU I will always remember is my first football game. The community and students really come together and that makes the games all that much better.

Best thing about WSU is the large college in the middle of nowhere; no crime, no parents, lots of friends! Pullman, the town where WSU is based, is a very-college oriented town and is definitely Cougar to the core! GO COUGS!

The greatest thing about Washington State University that makes me truely love this school is the people, the pride, the spirit. Only at WSU will you be able to yell out your car window at an old man "GO COUGS!" to have him respond with a smile and a thumbs up. Nowhere else will you be able to go into a bar on campus and automatically have something great in common with someone you have never even met. They (students at UW) may think that being snobby is the way to be, but here in Pullman, we love life. We love being immature at times as long as you are with your friends and as long as you remember those memories forever. You will often catch yourself in the middle of a test trying to recall what the Professor said in class and be unable. But you will never forget about the times you shared with your friends at Washington State.
