I can't think of anything I "wish I had known". I did an extensive amount of research before applying to the university and have found the information I aquired to be accurate and current.

There is nothing I wish I already knew before I came, it was more exciting to learn when I got there.

I wish I had known it was in the middle of no where. I also wish someone had explained the opion availible to me concerning financial aid, along with the residency information.

That studying was really important

I really wasn't unprepared when I came to college. It might have been nice to know about all the types of majors in a particular area. For example, I am interested in science, biology, and it would have been helpful to know that there is more than just Biology for that major, but others very closely related.

How to socialize and form better study habits.

I wish I had known more aobut what goes on in the "real" world. I came out of a fairly sheltered high school and therefore coming to college was somewhat of a shock. It took me a few months to adjust to what was the "norm" for college life.

I wish I had known how different the Honors College was from the general university. Classes can range from 8-24 students and are always taught by a faculty member. Discussion is encouraged and multiple-choice tests have been banned. This setting is completely different from the large classrooms which I expected when I chose to attend a state school over an ivy league school.

I wish I would have known about all the different classes that are available. I was moslty told about the general education classes that everyone has to take.

I was charged out of state tuition for 3 years I guess because I had a California address when applying even though I never established residency there as it was temporary and I have never been a non-resident of Washington. So I wish I would have known they were going to charge extra tuition based on that assumption.

I wish I knew more about the fraternity and sorority scene and how popular it was.

Man, it snows in the winter. I wish I had known to bring better clothes the first year. Also, feminist teachers. I wish I had known to stay away from them as much as possible.
