Katie

A person who is odd, with unusual tastes, and/or can live among diversity. A friendsly person; no animosity is approved of here.

Laura

If you want a large inner city school, then I would recommend not to come to Wells. For example the nearest mall is 30 minutes away.

Rebecca

It takes a special person to come to Wells. Not everyone who comes here likes it, and they end up transferring. You have to be academically oriented, or you will not do well. If someone is into sports, I wouldn't suggest that he or she comes here. Academics come first here, and professors are here to help you. Most students at this school are self-proclaimed nerds. Students want to study and do well, and about 90% of the time, students are studying. One must be willing to work hard, and they'll get a great education.

Mitch

People who are looking to college for heavy drinking and partying should not attends Wells College since there less than 600 students on campus and no greek life. If you are hoping to blend into a classroom you should not attend Wells.

Amanda

You should not attend Wells if you are not open to new ideas and people. We pride ourselves in being a safe community for everyone. If you want to be near a city where there is something to do all the time, Wells is not right for you either. You have to be able to make your own fun at Wells and be open to going to different kinds of events.

Brayden

A person that shouldn't go to Wells College is someone that comes from a really big city. The college is in a highly rural area and the nearest big city is about 20-25 minutes away. Due to this most students spend their weekends and other free time on campus. My first roommate came from right outside New York City and he had to leave within two months because he just couldn't handle not being able to always go out and have an exciting night life.

Katherine

God, practically anyone but a crazy person who loves drama. Everyone is judgemental, over sensitive and fake. Don't come here looking for serious discussion about anything but environmental stuff. Such a dissapointment. Literally everyone you talk to will have some problem with the administration, the students, or the professors. The dissatisfaction level is very high.

Kathryn

Someone who loves a big, vibrant social scene.

Abagail

A person who is looking to party all the time and float along through academics. Wells College is a place where academics come first, then clubs and athletics, lastly social life outside of those two. Classes are small, so you won't be a number, which means floating along just doesn't happen. A person who doesn't enjoy tradition would not enjoy Wells, we are deeply rooted in our traditions and connections to our history with other Wells alums. Lastly, a person who is ignorant wouldn't like Wells because we have no tolerance for intolerance.

BRYANT

Those who are not open to try new tings, get involved, and work hard.

Chelsea

Students who do not want a small (600 students) college with a liberal arts curriculum should not attend Wells. If one would not adhere to the Honor Code and community obligation to not lie, cheat, steal, deceive, or conceal, Wells is not the place for him. Wells, although we do embrace men, is a place where women can be empowered. If a person does not respect women (and LGBTQA) ze should not attend. Students who do not want to be in a cohesive community or practice the many traditions offered should steer their paths away from Wells College.
