Yuba College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about Yuba College is that it has a lot of trashy types of people going there. There are lots of ex-drug-addicts (and probably regular drug-addicts), people out of prison, and other people of an unsavory nature. But, what can one expect from the Yuba-Sutter area?

The only thing my school lacks isthat there isn't enough classes for all of the students. With the economy being as bad as it is, many classes have been cut. That is a big disadvantage at my school and I would love to bring summer classes back. These are the only real bad things about this school.

Probably the worst thing about my school is we got a budget cut, which means they had to cut summer school. This sucks for me because now I have to wait to take classes I need to transfer.

I consider that the worst thing abnout Yuba College is that some of the bulidings are outdated and need to be renivated to better accomiddate the needs of both students and instructors.

Along with it's dismal location , I would consider the worst thing about my school to be it's low financials, and the insuing threat of class cancellations caused by it.

The worst thing about my school is that, even though it is a community college, that doesn't mean it has to omit sports and physical activities. I know a few other JC's that have sports teams and activities so why don't ours? The worst thing about my school is that there are no sports.

They have cut back on classes due to the state budget problem. This has greatly affected some students. I am afraid of more cuts within the district.

Woodland Community College is a campus of Yuba college. The worst thing about the campus is that they don't offer enough classes so it's very difficult to get into certain classes that are required by a lot of people. The science department especially is very understaffed, allthough the available staff is amazing. Also the student lounge is horrible. There are only a couple vending machines so it's hard to find healthy snack or meal options, and the room feels cold which makes it hard to have a sense of student body.
