BPW Virginia Ruff Scholarship for Continuing Education

This $1,000 scholarship honors Virginia Ruff, a member of Bedford BPW for more than 50 years at the time of her death in April 2002 at age 94. A graduate of The College of Mary Washington and The College of William and Mary, Miss Ruff dedicated her life to the education of Bedford children as a teacher at the Villamont and Montvale schools, and as a librarian at Bedford and Liberty High Schools. She retired in 1973. This scholarship provides financial assistance for women seeking education to re-enter the job market, advancement and/or to achieve economic self-sufficiency. A committee of four BPW members selects the recipient.

The AfterCollege Business scholarship is available to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in a field of business. Business may include (but is not limited to): Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, International Relations, Management, Political Science, Public Relations, etc.

RV Learning Center Scholarship

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s Scholarship program encourages deserving college undergraduates to apply for the annual college award of $2,500. The program provides financial assistance to help foster the NEXT GENERATION of RV INDUSTRY LEADERS. Therefore, an important factor for awarding the scholarship is an applicant’s background of RV industry employment or a desire to work in the RV business after completing college. RV dealers and industry related companies are able to offer this opportunity to their staff and dependents of their employees. A poster publicizing the scholarship is available through the RV Learning Center. Dealers may display them in the workplace to alert employees of the opportunity

Shelving.com Business Scholarship

As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of preparing America’s youth for the future, and we recognize the importance of higher education in ensuring that our students receive the education and skills they deserve when entering the workforce. With that in mind, the 2023 Shelving.com Business Scholarship is now open – available to Michigan residents pursuing a major in business and/or currently enrolled in a business-related field of study. This scholarship will offer one grand prize of $3,000, one runner-up prize of $2,000, and one second runner-up prize of $1,000. The 2023 Shelving.com Business Scholarship will be accepting applications from Michigan residents who are either currently attending an accredited college or university, or are high school seniors currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college or university. Michigan residents are eligible if attending an accredited college or university outside of the state. Any student interested in applying is required to submit a copy of their current transcript and resume, as well as an essay that answers the prompt below. If not presently attending a college or university, proof of college or university enrollment is required.
