This scholarship is available for financially needy Maryland undergraduate sophomores who are pursuing science, technology, engineering, or math degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The scholarship is renewable throughout the student's undergraduate career provided criteria continue to be met. GPA of 2.8 or higher to be competitive.

The SHPE Austin Scholarship is provided for Hispanic students who are planning to major in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). This scholarship is available for students who are legal residents of Pinellas and Hillsborough County, Florida. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and be pursuing a manufacturing and/or technology-based career.

AFCEA War Veterans Scholarship

This scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors who are U.S. Armed Forces and National Guard personnel, either currently on active-duty or honorably discharged veterans, or reservists who served in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. Students must be majoring in fields related to the mission of AFCEA and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
