This award is for students who are employed in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)-related field and are enrolled in a first undergraduate or graduate degree program in a STEM field. U.S. and international students who have an active technician cass amateur radio license or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be living in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut, and be majoring in computer science, TV/radio electronics, or electrical engineering.
This scholarship is open to U.S. college sophomores and juniors and graduate students who are majoring in a STEM field relevant to the mission of AFCEA (includes cyber security, intelligence, and homeland security). Undergraduate students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; graduate students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
