This scholarship is offered to a licensed radio amateur with a general class or higher license who is majoring in electronics, communications, or a related field. The applicant must reside and attend school in New York or New England.

Traveler’s Foundation Scholarship – Tribal College Students

This scholarship is open to U.S. college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are of American Indian or Alaskan Native descent, attend selected tribal institutions, and are residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Florida, Minnesota, or Texas. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated financial need, and must major in business, accounting, computer science, computer technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or a related field.

Traveler’s Foundation Scholarship – Non-Tribal College Students

This scholarship is open to U.S. college sophomores, juniors, and seniors of American Indian or Alaskan Native descent who attend school or reside in CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, MN, or TX. Students must be majoring in business, accounting, computer science, computer technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or a related field; have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; and have demonstrated financial need.

U.S. and international students who have an active technician cass amateur radio license or higher are eligible for this award. This award is for Connecticut upper-level undergraduate students who are enrolled in an undergraduate teacher preparation program at an eligible college or university in Connecticut. The student must be a minority student (African, American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American or Native American heritage) and intend to teach in a Connecticut public school after graduation.

Roberta B. Willis Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Connecticut high school senior and undergraduate students who are attending eligible Connecticut institutions. Students must have a cumulative class rank in the top 20 percent at the end of their junior year for high school seniors (upon graduation for all others) OR have combined scores (math, critical reading, writing) of at least 1800 on the SAT OR 27 or better on ACT.
