Governor’s ‘Best and Brightest’ Scholarship Program – High School Merit

This scholarship is available for Montana high school seniors who plan to attend a two- or four-year Montana college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, or an SAT score of 1440 or higher (math and reading sections only), or an ACT score of 20 or higher.

This award is available to Montana resident undergraduate students who are attending an eligible Montana postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate financial need, as determined by completing the FAFSA.

This award is for Montana resident undergraduate student who are attending an eligible postsecondary institution in Montana. Students have earned at least $3,625 during the previous calendar year, and have an EFC of $8,050 or less, as determined by the FASFA.

This award is for Montana undergraduate students who are at least one-quarter American Indian blood or are enrolled members of a state- or federally-recognized tribe. Students must attend a Montana University System institution and demonstrate financial need.

This award is available for Korean students attending or planning to attend college in one of the following western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington. This award is available for U.S. graduate students who attend one of the following Montana Consortium campuses: Blackfeet Community College, Carroll College, Chief Dull Knife College, Fort Belknap College, Fort Peck Community College, Little Big Horn College, MSU-Billings, MSU-Bozeman, MSU-Northern, Montana Tech, Rocky Mountain College, Salish Kootenai College, Stone Child College, the University of Great Falls, the University of Montana or the University of Montana-Western. Students must be enrolled in a field of study relevant to NASA’s mission. These fields include (but are not necessarily limited to): the biological and life sciences, chemistry, geological and planetary sciences, physics and astronomy, mathematics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and the computer sciences.

This award is for a licensed radio amateur with a general class or higher license who is a resident of the ARRL Northwest Division area (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA).
