To keep the funds going, one must enroll for at least 12 semester hours and maintain their grade point average at 2.5 or higher.
Scholarships for Graduate Students in Texas
If you are pursuing a master’s degree, MBA, PhD, law or medical school in TX, you may find scholarships. Many graduate schools offer them on the basis of need or merit. University of Houston offers over 100 merit awards through the MBA Bauer Excellence Initiative. From their business school, these go to qualified MBA students who study full time. The award pays up to $10,000. Selectees from out of state may qualify for in state rates. There is no separate application form. But only admitted students may receive the funds.

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) – Southwestern Regional Chapter (SWRC) is pleased to announce a scholarship program in honor and recognition of 1.6 million American Veterans who served in the Korean War during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950–January 31, 1955). These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded.
To express our gratitude to these veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-SWRC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-SWRC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success.

The Terry Foundation supports students who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, and financial need. The University of Texas at Arlington has been a proud partner with the Terry Foundation since 2015. The Terry Scholarship program is for incoming freshman students. Through this program, taking into account other scholarships and grants, the Terry Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, fees, books, and on-campus living expenses. Application requires student to list out community service activities, disclose some family financial information, and answer 2-500 word essay prompts. The applicant must share the recommender form link with their preferred advisor for submission.
The McMurry University Honors Program is a four-year honors track. The Trustee Honors Scholarship entails acceptance to and participation in the Honors Program; July 15 application deadline; awarded in addition to a McMurry Transfer Award. The scholarship requires full time enrollment. Annual amount is awarded by semester.
