Scholarships for Graduate Students in Texas
If you are pursuing a master’s degree, MBA, PhD, law or medical school in TX, you may find scholarships. Many graduate schools offer them on the basis of need or merit. University of Houston offers over 100 merit awards through the MBA Bauer Excellence Initiative. From their business school, these go to qualified MBA students who study full time. The award pays up to $10,000. Selectees from out of state may qualify for in state rates. There is no separate application form. But only admitted students may receive the funds.

The Coach Wade Pittsford Scholarship is provided in memory of Wade Pittsford, a Freshman football coach for the Bulldogs at Bowie High School in Bowie, Texas. The Scholarship is provided annually to graduating seniors at Bowie High School in Bowie, Texas. Applicants must be involved in the BHS Bulldogs’ football or basketball team.
The Sharad Sood Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas who demonstrate a passion for soccer and an overall commitment to excellence.
The Zoe Zuniga-Prince Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors at Westlake High School in Travis County, Texas. Applicants must be active in the art departments and demonstrate a combination of passion, talent, and commitment to the arts.
The Horton-Schultz-Mitchusson Scholarship for Bartlett High School is available for graduating seniors in Bartlett, Texas who demonstrate scholastic achievement, community participation, and an enterprising spirit.
