This scholarship is available for Vermont undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in nursing. Recipients must work as a nurse in Vermont or at an accredited hospital within ten miles of the Vermont border for a minimum of one year following licensure for forgiveness of the loan.

Students must seek an undergraduate degree in education, and must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.
