This scholarship is available for U.S. female high school students who have a demonstrated outstanding aptitude and interest in IT/computing. Students must have a good academic history, typically a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

U.S. high school students in grades nine through twelve who are 19 years of age or younger are eligible for this scholarship. To apply, the applicant must write an essay on the theme listed on the Veterans of Foreign Wars website and record the reading of that essay; submit both essay and CD/flash drive to be considered for this scholarship.

Marine Band Concerto Competition

“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce its 2021 Concerto Competition for High School Musicians.
