This award is available for Hispanic students who are currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited higher education program. Applicants must demonstrate leadership and enroll on a full-time basis. A scholarship ($1,000 for a 4-year institution or $500 for a 2-year institution) for undergraduate students.

This award is available to minority students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents majoring in physical therapy and maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Awards will be presented by APTA’s Board of Directors at an APTA national event with monetary awards mailed prior to the event.
