This year, there will be more Hispanic students starting college than any other minority group. College costs can be too expensive for many students, but scholarships are available. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. To qualify for scholarship money, Hispanic students should plan to show a good GPA and also good test scores. But, these aren’t the only factors for receiving scholarship money. Always check the rules and requirements for scholarships. Miller Lite Scholarship

This undergraduate award is for U.S. junior or senior college stduents of Latino descent studying business. Applicants must attend a HACU partner university in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, or Wisconsin.

HBCU Connect Minority Student Scholarship

This award is for minority students attending a historically black college or university. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior, transfer student, or a student currently enrolled full-time.

Florida Minority Teacher Education Scholarship Program

This award is available to Florida resident undergraduate students who are enrolled as upper division undergraduates in a state-approved teacher education program at an eligible Florida institution. Students must be of African, American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native descent, and plan to teach in a Florida public school upon graduation.

AIChE Minority Scholarship Award for Incoming Freshmen

International and U.S. high school seniors who are AIChE members planning to pursue a science or engineering major are eligible for this award. Students must be part of a minority group, enroll full time, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This award is for first-year law school students who are members of a diverse population that has been historically represented in the legeal profession. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S. and have demonstrated excellent academic performance at their undergraduate school.

This scholarship is available to Indiana undergraduate students who are minority (black or Hispanic) and attending an Indiana college or university. The student must intend to pursue or be pursuing a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana.
