This year, there will be more Hispanic students starting college than any other minority group. College costs can be too expensive for many students, but scholarships are available. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. To qualify for scholarship money, Hispanic students should plan to show a good GPA and also good test scores. But, these aren’t the only factors for receiving scholarship money. Always check the rules and requirements for scholarships. Latinos in Technology Scholarship

The Latinos in Technology Scholarship is available for Hispanic and Latino students who are majoring in and accepted to an undergraduate program for a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors and must plan to enroll on a full time basis.

This award is available for Colorado students of Hispanic heritage who are currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Florida Minority Teacher Education Scholarship Program

This award is available to Florida resident undergraduate students who are enrolled as upper division undergraduates in a state-approved teacher education program at an eligible Florida institution. Students must be of African, American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native descent, and plan to teach in a Florida public school upon graduation.

This scholarship is available for current high school seniors and undergraduate students who are applying to admission at Clemson University in South Carolina. To be considered for a Diversity Scholarship, applicants must add to the ethnic, cultural, geographic, or intellectual diversity of the campus.
