In an effort to diversify their campuses, many colleges and universities offer scholarships for minority students, including Hispanics and Latinos. Many organizations, such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), are committed to assisting Hispanic and Latino students find free money for college. Our Scholarship Directory contains many awards for students with a Hispanic ethnic background. In many cases, students must also satisfy other eligibility requirements, such as participation in a sport or a stellar grade point average. National Association of Hispanic Nurses Scholarship Award

U.S. students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be Hispanic.

This scholarship is available for minority students who reside in and around Grand Rapids, Michigan. Applicants must be currently enrolled in one of the specified nursing specialities and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Rosewood Family Scholarship Program

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are considered a minority and planning to attend an eligible college or university in Florida. Priority will be given to direct descendants of African-American Rosewood families affected by the events of January 1923.

Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund

This award is available to Florida high school seniors and incoming graduate students who are of Hispanic descent and enroll at a participating Florida institution. Students must have an unweighted cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Monsignor Philip Kenney Scholarship

New Hampshire residents who are minorities will be considered for this award; preference is given to Hispanic students. Students must enroll in undergraduate or certificate programs of study.

Fulfilling Our Dreams Scholarship Program

This scholarship is available to Central American/Latino students who are residents of and studying in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Los Angeles area, or San Fernando Valley. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, demonstrate financial need, have a history of community involvement, and be willing to serve as a mentor if selected for a scholarship.

Sears & Associates, P.C. Diversity and Problem Solving Scholarship

The Sears & Associates, P.C. Diversity and Problem Solving Scholarship is available for U.S. minority students who are enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school.

George Geng On Lee Minorities in Leadership Scholarship

This award is for minority students who are graduating from high school, or who are full time undergraduate students enrolled at a four-year institution. Applicants must reside in the greater San Fransisco Bay area, defined as Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties in California.

Minority Teacher Scholarship

This scholarship is available to Indiana undergraduate students who are minority (black or Hispanic) and attending an Indiana college or university. The student must intend to pursue or be pursuing a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana.

Rangel Graduate Fellowship

The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship is available to minority students who are pursuing a graduate degree in foreign affairs. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

This award is available for minority law school students who live in or attend law school in the San Fransisco Bay Area.
