UNIGO Prohibited Advertisers Policy

Overview

UNIGO LLC. is committed to providing a safe and respectful platform for users of all ages, including children and those under 18. In recognition of the diverse laws, cultures, and sensitivities of our global audience, we maintain a strict policy regarding the types of advertisements we permit on our platform. This policy outlines prohibited industries, products, and services (collectively referred to as “Prohibited Advertisers”), reflecting our dedication to compliance with applicable laws and the protection of our users. The policy is subject to updates in response to evolving legal requirements and community standards.

Prohibited Content and Services

Animals and Wildlife

Prohibited: Promotion or sale of live animals, endangered species, animal parts, or products derived from wildlife.

Exceptions: Advertisements for animal-related products (e.g., toys, food) and services (e.g., pet care, grooming) are permitted.

Adult Content and Services

Prohibited: All forms of adult entertainment, sexual products or services, dating services implying sexual encounters, and materials promoting sexual enhancement or performance.

Gambling and Betting

Prohibited: Advertising of casinos, gambling activities, sports betting, and related promotional offers.

Tobacco and Smoking Products

Prohibited: Promotion of tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and related paraphernalia.

Counterfeit Goods

Prohibited: Sale or promotion of counterfeit products, replicas, or any unauthorized goods mimicking brand-name items.

Alcohol, Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia

Prohibited: Advertising alcohol, prescription drugs for non-medical use, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and depiction of drug abuse.

Military and Police Equipment

Prohibited: Sale or promotion of police or military gear, uniforms, and equipment.

Political Campaigns and Issue-Based Advertising

Prohibited: Political campaigns or advocacy groups, political campaigning, advertisements by political figures, or ads related to sensitive issues.

Unacceptable Business Practices

Prohibited: Misleading, deceptive, or unlawful practices, including identity theft, document forgery, and deceptive claims.

Unsuitable Businesses and Services

Prohibited: Services and products deemed controversial, unsafe, or incompatible with our platform’s values, including but not limited to abortion services, funeral services, hazardous chemicals, and weapons trading.

Weaponry

Prohibited: Advertising weapons, explosives, and self-defense tools that pose a risk to public safety.

Cryptocurrency, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and Related Services

Prohibited: Advertising that promotes the sale, exchange, or trading of cryptocurrencies or related products and services. This includes but is not limited to initial coin offerings (ICOs), cryptocurrency exchanges, and wallet services. 

Objectionable Content

Regardless whether or not an advertiser is promoting products or services that deem it a Prohibited Advertiser, UNIGO, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to prohibit any advertising content it deems as offensive, hateful, intolerant, capable of inciting violence, controversial, objectionable, or otherwise inconsistent with the mission and values of the UNIGO platform.

Compliance and Enforcement

UNIGO reserves the right to review and evaluate all advertisements for compliance with our Prohibited Advertisers Policy. Advertisers found in violation of these guidelines may face suspension of their advertising privileges and/or removal from the platform. We encourage advertisers to review this policy regularly to ensure their ads meet our standards, as updates may occur to align with new legal requirements and community expectations.

Updates and Amendments

This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Updates will be made to reflect changes in legal standards, community guidelines, or platform policies. Advertisers are responsible for staying informed of any policy modifications.
