Focus on the future and what college will help achieve success in one's future, that is the best college. One shouldn't worry about his or her social life , instead should focus on the future .
make sure you love the school and it's not too far away from home. make sure you can realistically afford it.
The first piece of advice that I would give parents and students about finding the right college is to visit the colleges that they are interested in before applying to them. This will save on application fees and will help you narrow in on what you're looking for in a school. The second piece of advice would be to ask questions while visiting the campuses, no matter how silly they seem. As for making the most of the college experience, it's very simple, just get out there and make friends. Becomming involved with campus activities will allow you to always have something to do so that you do not feel like you are bored.
