The best thing about my school is the high expectations and goals for the students. It is a place where learning and growing is a high priority. The faculty is excellent, and tries to give the most to their students. The students here are hard working and set high standards and goals for themselves. I believe that my school could be considered a community, because of the high morals and goals that we have.

There is always something to do on campus, and you should never be bored. They do plenty of activities to help you get out and meet people. Most of the teachers are really good at what they do, and are willing to help you out in any way they can, you just need to take the initiative to talk with them.

The combination of secular and spiritual learning. I don't think any other campus in the United States, besides perhaps BYU-I and BYU-H, offer that. The secular combined with the spiritual makes for a very unique learning experience, that I believe has heightened my ability to understand the world around me. I see how the secular world compliments my spiritual beliefs, and how my spiritual beliefs compliment my secular learning experience. It's fantastic!

The values are the best thing about my school. Not everyone shares the same cultural understanding, native language, or religion, but the honor code strictly enforces the ground rules of campus life. This brings us together and allows us to learn free from many social inhibitions.

The atmosphere. There is an honor code that prohibits drinking, drugs, foul language, immodest behavior...etc. It's very comfortable to be here.

The best thing about the school is that it is devoid of the normal alchohol and sexual encounters that come with college life. You are able to have real fun, that you remember the next day. You don't have to worry about your roommates not coming home, or someone getting pregnent because very few people do that sort of thing. You are really able to be yourself, and only yourself.

The opportunity undergraduates get to work on research very early on, and how, since this is a private school, professors are allowed and even encouraged to relate spiritual learning to academic learning and show their students how the two are integrated.

The best thing about Brigham Young University is the environment. It is absolutely drun/alcohol free on campus. Everyone is willing to help eachother and is very friendly. The campus is kept clean and is just a great learning environment.

You can't beat the environment. All the students are really nice. It's a very positive place to be. It's very good for your spirit. Nobody puts you down or excludes you. There are lots of friends to make!

Brigham Young University is a school with TONS of school spirit. Everyone is involved and wants to be involved in school events, not on ly the sporting events but also concerts, plays and fun little shows and dances that are put on at lunch in front of the student center. It is evident that you are at BYU because all of the students wear BYU appearal and everyone goes to the football games. I really think that half of the stadium is found in the student section. That makes it fun to fo to school here.

The people here are happy. Everyone wants to succeed and is cheering you on in your efforts to succeed as well. The classes are challenging and stretch you to become who you can and learn beyond what you could expect. The professors are wonderful and the spirit on campus is of love and charity towards everyone.

Everything we learn is tied to some moral value, and how we can use our knowledge to make us better servants of humanity.

In general, people here seem to know what they want and be willing to work towards it. Most people have good standards of integrity, and students are respectful towards professors, and most of the time vice-versa. People have values and goals which they've set for themselves, and they stick to them. I feel comfortable and safe, and don't have to worry about being discriminated against or excluded. Social circles are open to adaptation, not closed into restricted cliques as in other places. I guess in short I just like that I can feel comfortable being myself.

I think the best thing about my school is that it promotes a wholesome learning environment. Everything is clean. The campus is very well maintained in landscaping, remodeling/updating the buildings, keeping all areas sanitized and free from littler, etc. But also there is a moral foundation, a code of honor, where students are expected to participate in activites that are free from alcohol, drugs, or anything that would distract from the goal of education and excellence. While students at other universities might find this too binding, I personally feel much safer.

I love how religion (as it is a church-based school) is intertwined in productive ways. There is a large focus not only ont being a good careerman but also on being a good person.

I get an education with emphasis on my religious beliefs. I love praying at the beginning of every class.

I love how the evironment of BYU is very friendly. Students hear are very accepting of others. We enjoy helping each other out. I would say that I have made a lot of life-long friends here at BYU. The school may be pretty competitive, but the people here look out for each other. I love going to school here. Sure, I wish that I had studied harder to get a better GPA, but the memories I have made here have been priceless.

There is so much life here. In someways I miss the diversity that's available at other schools but BYU has a special kind of diversity. I've met students from, literally, all over the world. Belgium, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Canada, Colombia, Scotland, the list goes on. It's been one of the most colorful parts of my education, to learn about different cultures. We don't have a lot of religious diversity but we have some beautiful cultural diversity.

The best thing about BYU is its emphasis on a complete education. Education is more than just academics. We are expected to grow academically of course, but we are also expected to contribute within the community and to develop socially and spiritually.

The best thing about BYU is the high standards it holds its students to. Not just academically, but morally. Holding us to high moral standards, such as no drugs, no alcohol, no promiscuity, and honesty makes us better students. I can better focus on my education when my body is healthy and clean of harmful substances. I can feel more pride and drive for my education because I know I'm getting the grades I deserve, not the grades I cheated for.

I think the best thing about the BYU is the campus. It is lovely to sit outside and enjoy the weather. There is also ample seating indoors during the winter. There are plenty of outdoor activities for students to participate in year round. There are really good professors that care about their students.
