CSUS is welcoming and very hands-on. Not only do students excel academically, but they also learn practical experiences. So basically when a student graduates, they will be prepared with the book knowlegde and have hands-on experience.

The best thing about my school is the amount of people with common interests. No matter what you are interested in, there is always someone who shares that interest. This is important to me because it is nice to share things with other people that you otherwise would not have been introduced to, and provides you with people who understand you and what you like.

The best thing about Sac State is that it has a lot of social opportunities, such as joining a sorority/fraternity or clubs. It is also relatively inexpensive compared to other colleges and it is located in a nice area.

The best thing about Sac. State is that it's very diverse and have professors that care for their students. Last semester many of them offered extra credit for their classes. I know that there are time when students don't do well in an assignment and with the extra credit they make up for their mistake.

I like that Sac State pushes me to find answers to complicated questions, and that I am building a promising future from a reputable university. I have attended the Chemistry Club and it makes me feel great that I can be a member and reach out to the community through our events. Sac State is also a promoter of independent research, so I am glad I have chosen a university close to my community to advance my studies. I also enjoy how some professors go out of their way to help their students.

The Speech Pathology and Audiology Program. It' s very well rounded and I feel it will definitely give me a leg up when I graduate and look for employment.

The best thing about CSU Sacramento, or Sac State for short, is the willingness of faculty, staff, and the peer mentors to help students adjust and prepare for their future. It is obvious that this school is looking toward the benefit of students' futures.

I really enjoy how fresh and green the campus is. Every where you go there are trees, nice cut grass, and picnic tables right in the middle of it for studying. The teachers all have a sense of humor (appropriately) and respond to your questions in a timely manner. I LOVE the new gym, called The Well; I go there three times or more a week! I also enjoy being a part of the Accounting Society because its given me the opportunity to meet new friends and experience one on one conversations with Accounting Firms from all over the area.

I think MOST of the teachers here are really great and want us to do the best of our ability. The teachers are very flexible with office hours and eager to meet with us and get to know us.

The professors at CSUS are great! They take the extra step to get to know their students and to be available to students in need. It is easy to tell that they have a belief in and love for education. Also, many professors go beyond their roles as teachers and become someone that the students can not only look up to, but also go to for advise.

The best thing about CSUS is how a lot of the class aren't strictly lecture. They are more of a discussion class so they are interesting and engaging.

If there is something that this school doesnt have, they will try their very best to get it for us. I would say the best thing about my school is its enclusiveness. Everyone is close and friendly with each other. The student body is really involved in what happens on campus. This is good for many reasons. For example, our school always has fun and exciting events to get everyone together. They are there to help the students fully understand the material rather than just memorizing it for the upcoming test. The next best thing about the school would have to be the diversity of arts available to participate in or watch to relax.

California State University - Sacramento is a great, diverse, environmental school. it creates a great vibe to get active and interact with people you have never known before. College students are very friendly and they will give you a tour to the school. Everyone is invited to the school and great resources are available for students to get access to. There are also variety of opportunities that will help you finanacially and socially such as the Multi-cultural Center that will relate you to your culture, CAMP which helps students with textbooks, and Educational Opportunity Program that keeps you on track.

The best thing about the school is the faulties. Yesterday was my "transfer-orientation day." and we had three science faulties there to help us in transitioning into the university smoothly. They were able to answer lots of question students had, and they gave advices to succeed in school and how to make to most out of it. At the end of the day, they accounced that they were not paid to be here but here to help us. I was amazed that on their vacation days they came out to help students like to me to succeed in school.

The best thing about CSUS would have been the variety in class subjects. Due to budget cuts, this has decreased dramatically and have a decreasing change of actually getting into these courses.

The best thing about CSU Sacramento is the fact that the campus is very culturally diverse and the staff is also very diverse. I think it really helps to make more students feel comfortable and equally represented in the classroom.

This year, I was able to take classes towards my major. All my journalism professors were extroadinary. They had enough experience to really teach students and even share their experiences working in the field. These professors didn't give up in teaching their students and gave extra efforts outside of classtime. Whenever I had questions, they were available to help me anytime. Sac State contains many incrediable professors that really shape students lives and help them pass the class.

The Professors are easy to talk to and are always there to help. Plus the campus is very pretty with open lawns with plenty of trees and some wildlife.

The campus is by far the most becoming feature of the school. The city of Sacramento is known for its multitude of trees, and Sacramento State is no exception. It is breathtaking to walk through the quads during fall, quite literally in the case of the Ginko trees. With the large expanse of space they have provided to enjoy them, there is no better place to study, listen to a speech, or join a rally, than our beautiful campus.

The best thing about my school would indeed be the great diversity that is around campus. Ever class is filled with different people that makes the school unique in its own way.

The best thing about my school is it is a commuter school. It is always changing, but remains the same: people are always around, there are always activities, and events going on to entice people to become a part.

At CSU Sacramento there are so many people and programs to help students stay on top of their classes and homework. One program that I am in is EOP, Educational Opportunity Program, and it has helped me out so much in my transition to college. They provide a computer room for only EOP students which is a great help when it comes to printing out papers or finishing up an assignment. The counselors at EOP are also very helpful when it comes to picking classes, getting involved with school, and just when we need to talk.

When I was going to high school, the teachers would always tell us how the professors in college would not care if we passed their courses and that they would fail us if we missed an important assignment. I started my first semester with the anticipation of having to put up with horrific instructors. The first week of school had completely changed my mind. All of my professors wanted me to succeed,they had office hours for extra help and answered my questions. Dr. Barrena has even influenced me to sign up for the S.E.E. program.

The best thing about my school is its' diversity. Having a very diverse population allows students to understand each other's differences and teaches them to respect the differing cultures no matter how different they may be.

I really like the campus of my school and the people there. I was from a small city and going into sacramento was a big change for me, but once I started going to school everyone was really friendly and I felt really comfortable at my school even if I have only been attending it for one semester. The campus is really beautiful and full with life.

As a freshman attending California State University, Sacramento, the best thing about my school is that all the professors are willing to help their students succeed. Professors at CSUS are willing to spend their personal time in helping students, even after the budget cuts that have occurred within the state of California.

The best thing at my school has to be the CWC- Cooper Woodson Program that I'm involved in. Its a scholarship program and that's the only thing that keeping focus, while attending CSUS.

The best thing about Sacramento State is the availability of the school facilities and free services. The school library is open late (closes at around 11PM) which is helpful for students who cannot get there during the day. There is a building called the AIRC that is open 24 hours a day where students can access computers. The health facility offers many free services for students including medical exams, X-Rays, HIV testing, eye exams, and psychological counseling. These services and facilities are helpful when students like myself are already stressing over assignments and money.

Sacramento State University is one of the most multicultural universities I have seen. The acceptance towards minorities and the interest by students in other cultures made me feel right at home- I am an international student. The classes stress the importance for intercultural activities and understanding making the learning experience much more valuable than a simple lecture.

This is a great school for practical learning, resulting in a good career.

Location and Cost. Location because it is only 35 miles away from home and cost because with loans and scholarships i can afford to go to school without getting into too much debt.

The campus is beautiful and almost everyone is friendly. It's close to everything. Sac State has a ton of options for classes and extra curriculars. Classes are not intimidating and access to your professor is easy. It's a large campus, in both student population and physical properties. This feature is only a positive. The student population is large enough to blend in, yet small enough to stand out- depending on your intention! The campus itself is also a perfect size.

I think the best thing about Sac State is the fact that most classes are small. This allows the students to have more one on one interaction with their peers and professors.

The best thing about my school is that there is diversity among the students. It is only a 20 minute drive from my home.

The campus is beautiful. There are beautiful, lush green trees everywhere . Many students rest and form study groups under the trees and in the areas surrounded by the trees. The campus also has a computer access for students in almost every building. The campus has buildings on campus that are open 24 hours for students to study and access computers. The campus has a program called safe rides that enables CSUS students to get safe rides from clubs, bad dates, automotives problems and anything else.
