Our school is a relatively small UNCF school. The stereotype is that the quality of education might not be as high quality than at a larger state university. This stereotype is definitely not true. The professors are great, caring and very professional. I enjoy the one on one attention I get at Claflin University that would not be available at a larger school or university.
the stereotype at claflin is mostly African American because the school is an HBCU which means its a historically black university.
At my school, there really aren't stereotypes. Everyone is like one big family. The school is very small so everyone sticks together.
