I love Clark, it's such a great atmosphere and the teachers are very helpful. Of course there's always a couple that are no good, but rate my professor usually helps with that. The campus is clean and beautiful and resources for students to use are everywhere. Overall I think it's a great place to learn.

Likewise, this is just a community college. The education from here is what you make it out to be. As long as you're determined to get involved and be apart of extra curricular activities and events, you will have a great time here. The professors are great. As mentioned before if you put in effort and time, it'll be worth it here.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Clark College provides wonderful opportunities for both Running Start and regular students. There are multiple online and on-campus classes offered that give me the chance to pursue a career. The professors are engaging, and the students are encouraged to be conversational and kind with one another. Overall, I think Clark College is a wonderful and safe college.

It's amazing! I love it here. Great instructors, many extracurricular activities to do, and they provide students with many things (such as free coffee and free planners) Plus, there are many courses you can transfer to other universities in Washington.

Clark College is a well organized and upbeat school. They have a beautiful campus and there seems to always be an event going on with different clubs and social gatherings. It is easy to find you way and the staff are always willing to help you if you need help finding you way.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Clark College is a outstanding community college! Clark offers many different things; like great class sizes, amazing professors, and classes for everything. Clark is a community college so there's no greek life or dorms that doesn't seem to stop students from becoming close. Everyone at Clark is very welcoming and helpful! If you're looking into going I highly recommend it.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back I would tell myself to not drop out of highschool yet. That I was almost done, and it would be alot cheaper to get my Washington State Diploma on-time, instead of dropping out and attempting to get it through community college a few years down the road. But now I am at a different place in my life, and I am ready and excited to learn new things, stepping up the ladder in life towards my ultimate education goals.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I think the worst thing about Clark College would be the lack of online class flexibility for students with special situations.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

I brag most about how well my english teacher explains the concepts and makes sure that we understand what we are going through in the textbooks, and homework assignments. She also gave us a quiz with enough time before the end of the quater to see where people were at. I was a little further behind than she preferred, and she went out of her way to make sure I would come in outside of class to go over information again, and make sure I am truely learning the concepts she is teaching.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself to really focus on scholarships. I never thought about filling out any applications because I didn't really care, but it would have been nice to save money. I am going to Kent State in the Fall this year, and I have to work a lot to help save up for going to a university. I could afford to pay for Clark College, but a university, especially one that is out-of-state, is costly, and hopefully FAFSA and scholarships can help me. I would also tell my senior self to take classes and seminars to learn about college and scholarships, because I have to teach myself now.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

We at Clark College have a very diverse group of white people. There is no diversity of races and cultures, but there is a huge age range of people. I found the Running Start students to be frustrating, because they didn't take college seriously. They would often slack on group projects, leaving me to do the bulk of the work. I know they are just having fun, and are young, but it ruins the college experience for the rest of us.
