The best thing about CCU is all the resources available. I know in the Wall Business building the teaching staff as well as the advisors make it a point to let the students know that their door is always open ; no appointment is needed. A few of my professors have made themselves available during the weekend , including Sundays to give extra help if need be.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina University is the positive environment. In my first semester of college, fall 2012, I optained a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. The professors and my advisor helped motivate me and realize my potential of achieving greatness. Coastal Carolina's environment is very encouraging, they have a whole college dediated for the undecided because over fifty percent of students change their major throughout their college carreer. College can seem scary but Coastal is welcoming and helps students on the right path for their future, I know they have helped me.

One of the best things about Coastal Carolina University is the campus activities and envolvment. On campus there is always something go on and its fun to be a part of that. We have Teal Tuesday where everyone dresses up in teal so show school spirit. Our school is friendly. An added bonus is our beautiful campus and the great location being only ten minutes from Myrtle Beach and the ocean.

My favorite thing about Coastal Carolina University is the size. It is considered a medium size school and the campus is beautiful but relatively small and easy to navigate. Having a small campus has allowed me to meet so many friends in a close environment. I also enjoy the small classes because I have a great chance to develop relationships with my professors.

The teachers are easily approachable, they want you to do well in class. They will come to campus when they do not have office hours if you cannot make their office hours.

The best thing about Coastal, is the small class size and campus size. You can get to know your professors persoanally and they know know you by name. The size of the campus makes it easy to get around with a car. The community around Coastal is always nice and supportive of everything that we do. Coastal is almost like a family, I love my school.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina University is the atmosphere that surrounds you. Every person you walk past on campus always has a smile on their face and always says hello. The students and faculty here at Coastal Carolina University make it a friendly and inviting atmosphere that allows you to feel like your back home! You are treated here with such remarkable hospitality it really makes you feel welcome everytime you step foot on the campus. Whether, its your first or tenth time on campus, you always get treated the same!

School spirit! CCU has such a good atmosphere. Students are encouraged to join as many clubs and organizations as their heart desires. From intramural sports to varsity sports and from Student Government Association to greek life, CCU really tries to help everyone find their niche in college life. CCU coaxes students into an independent lifestyle and lets students develop memories that last forever!

I am a new transfer student. I like the environment and atmosphere of the campus. I also like the Accounting program offered at Coastal Carolina University. It is perfect for an Accounting student who wishes to continue their studies and achieve a master's degree as well as take the CPA exam.

The numerous clubs and oraganizations is the best thing because they get you involved outside of the class room and experience the world.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina University would be the location and the atmosphere of the school. Coastal is close to the beach and there are stores conviently placed close to campus for students. The weather is nice all year long and the county of Conway is a beautiful place with very nice people. Coastal Carolina is a great university and any student graduating that is looking for a college should consider Coastal Carolina.

The best thing about this school, is the diversity. I am an African American, coming from an mostly African American High School. So, it was nice meeting new people, and experiencing different things.

I consider the best thing about Coastal Carolina University is that it is a smaller college than most. There are a few reasons I consider this to be the best thing about my school. One reason is because it is fairly easy to get from one side of campus to the other, and it is almost impossible to get lost. Another reason I consider this to be the best thing about my school is because it is easier to get one on one time with professors and counselors as well as getting to know them personally.

It provides a good marine science program and is expanding it's facility by building a new science building and rec center.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina is the location. Located right near Myrtle Beach, there are plently opportunites for work and play at the beach. Most of the time, I enjoy studying at the beach, it's something fun while doing school work. It's a very different experience.

The best thing about Coastal has to be the small class sizes. There are only about 30 kids in each class so the teachers know your name and are easly approachable.

Coastal Carolina University’s location is definitely its greatest asset. Any day of the week, I am able to find something fun, cheap, and/or easy to do. We are 20 minutes from Myrtle Beach, which obviously is an amazing place to spend an afternoon, as well as all the various tourist attractions. Additionally, Conway has great night life with lots of clubs and bars nearby. I have found everything I have needed related to school, shopping, entertainment, food, and everything else, close by. Myrtle Beach is definitely a great place to go to college!

The best thing about CCU is the feeling of a close knit communtiy. It has a small school feel to it, although the student population is rapidly increasing every year. Proffessors care about students learning, and go above and beyond to help students learn more efficently and effectively. Also, there is a strong spirit of "bleeding teal" throughout campus. Students take pride in this school and in the community. Everyone is friendly and possess a similar goal---succeed.

I love the campus. It is clean and very beautiful. The classes have to be the best part. All the classes I have had have been so much fun and the teachers have been extreamly helpful in helping me learn the material. Many of the classes were made even better by the teachers. The facualty here is amazing. They can change a class that can be very dull into a class you would not want to miss.

I would have to consider the best thing about my school is the events and activities that constantly go on at the school. There isn't enough time in the day to even do half the events going on at the school. I would also have to say that most of the students enrolled at the school are involved in at least 1 club, even though there are over 120 clubs you can join. But if there isnt a club you want to join you can start your own club up!

One of the best things at Coastal Carolina is the campus. It is not such a huge campus that you can get easily lost and it is not so small that you know everyone.

The dorms, and appartment are confortable. They allow us to be social , I love it just love it!!

The diversity is like unique unlike other places around Sout Carolina. We have students from everywhere , who I meet and learn about other states and even countries! the work ethic is great, we are a determined school, and we have alot of of pride for our school. Coastal is number one!

The best thing about my college is that everyone is given a chance to discover what they want to do with their life. If you are still undecided about a major, there are numerous programs available to help you pick the career that's right for you. There are a variety of resources available to all students to guarantee a successful education for allof them. It is a beautiful campus and a perfect environment for learning.

The faculty and staff members are the best and most memorable part of Coastal Carolina University. The faculty and staff at Coastal genuinely care about their students. Faculty members make an incredible effort to make themselves available for student, and they are always willing to offer academic and career advice. Faculty members also make an effort to make sure that they are effective teachers. Staff members are equally as helpful as the faculty. No matter what your question or problem, there is always someone at Coastal who is ready and willing to help.

The people. There are some many different people here that you are always meeting someone that is different from you. They could be from South Carolina or they could be from New Jersey, you kjust never know who your going to meet each day.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina is the environment created by the students, faculty, and staff. Every person on campus is willing to help out a fellow student or colleague. Coastal creates an atmosphere that makes it hard to feel homesick in because the campus feels like home the minute you step on to campus.

The location, in between two cities and the beach in South Carolina. It makes for more of a colorful atmosphere.

I think the teachers interest in the students well being is the best thing about Coastal Carolina. It helps students stay focused and on track when they know that their superioirs are their to help them. The counselors are also very helpful at making sure the students stay on track and providing information on what they need to do to achieve specific goals.

The best thing about Coastal Carolina University is the open campus layout, the nice weather, and the close proximity to the Myrtle Beach area. There are so much extra curricular activities in and around the campus, and there is an up and coming Greek Life system that fosters hard working individuals who are focused on giving back to the community, having fun, and getting good grades.

I believe my college has well-proportioned classes. There aren't too many students in one classroom, therefore professors can effectively communicate with each student. We aren't recognized as just a number at our institution which allows us to be acknowledged even more by faculty and staff.

the best thing about my school is the student to teacher ratio. the classroom sizes are very small which it is good to get that one on one relationship with the professor.

It is very accepting, fun, exciting, and social. No matter what you like there is always something for you and the teachers love teaching and are energetic. Plus with the beach and ocean a few miles away and hot weather who can complain?

The involvement students can have with working on projects and research with their professors. How involved with on campus events and activities you can get. The great reputation in Marine Sciences we have!

Everybody really takes care of each other. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and students really bond together especially in times of crisis
