Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Don't get a single room. Worst idea ever. I have an awful roomate right now, but I still enjoy that there is someone there that I can talk to occasionally. And by awful, I just mean we have different lifestyles. She studies and reads the bible and sleeps. I like to have fun...go visit my boyfriend, watch tv, go to parties, etc. But it's only for a year right? CSU is known for going green...it's a great idea, but they really aren't doing much about it. For example: They just put in a new dining center, which they say creates less water waste. And then they put a waterfall in the lobby. How does that make ANY sense? And the food in the dining halls is pretty bad for you. It's good don't get me wrong, but in the new dining center, there are multiple stations for pizza, fries, burgers, etc, and a pathetic little salad bar. It just feels like I'm eaither eating salad, or gross fatty foods. I hate hate hate it. Which is why I'm moving off campus as soon as possible. The rec center is going to be bitchin once they finish it- I'm pretty excited. They already have tons of everything,. but now you won't feel bad spending more time one one machine once they put on the addition. Right now it's still really well kept, but sometimes there aren't enough machines for everyone that wants one.

I think tuition at this school is rediculous for what we get. I think some of the grants for people in lower class economic groups is absurd. And i feel that way becuase most people i know who are getting grants and scholarships are not trying in school, and taking it as a free ride. where as i get no extra funding and work my ass off studying and working, and cant get any financial help, becuase i dont hae a 4.0, i have a 3.5, and my parents try to help me out by paying for schooling.

I dont like what President Penley has tried to do with the newspaper and i dont want to spend 90 grand on a concert again. And stop tuition increases for sucky sports that dont win

I would just like to say that I think CSU is a very happy environment that I enjoy being a part of. I love going home for break, but I also love coming back when break is done because feels like my next home. : )

Pedestrians need to stop for cars too! We cant wait forever! And bikers need to plan ahead, if you see someone walking to the left, turn to the right. Stop crashing into pedestrians. And bilkers need to stop for cars too, you cant go as fast as I can. CSU needs to rethink this parking situation. There are something like 30,000 students and only 1,000 parking spaces on campus (or at least it seems like). Maybe a parking garage would be nice!

Join honors. Get involved when you get here. Don't be lame and go home every weekend and then complain you have nothing to do here on the weekends.

Jenna

The community and people in Ft. Collins are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have met. There are people from all over the world here and each brings a different thing to CSU and the local community.

Amy

I love CSU, it is a perfect town and school. Good for biking too.

Technology is growing everyday and the school is trying to keep up with it. How ever it is difficult to pay for living expense to tutuition and books. Then we need updated technology every semester. It would be helpful to see the labs equiped with everything we need when we need it.

Katie

Very clean, safe school!

Stop giving Athletic students scholarships. There are more important things than giving the dumb guy a scholarship to play football for our horrible team. Also... if that person can't keep their C average... don't do everything in your power to keep him on the team. Even cheating. He is not worth the money. Give it to someone who is truely deserving and needs it. Better that persons life... not the one who has had all the money to do that sport in the first place. If he really is amazing... he wouldn't come to CSU.

GO CSU! GO RAMS!

Jamie

I'm almost done with my freshmen year of college and i can't believe the changes that i've already gone through! I haven't even left for summer yet and i can't wait to get back up here and experience more! I really love CSU and the positives outweigh the negatives anyday!

Please CSU puts some of that money you are wasting on new dorms that we dont need into our athletic program! What i said about school pride before rings true for every student i know. Its nearly an embarrassment to admit i go to CSU with our football and basketball teams records. I cant even bear going to the games. Give us something to brag about and dont you dare say volleyball or womens basketball cuz you know and i know that no one cares about them. No matter how good they are they can never make up for the tragedy our football team was this year. Next im serious about the cops. Believe me i understand that a college town must have cops but i have seen someone pulled over at least twice everyday on my way to class for the past week (and im really not making that up, i counted, and if you dont belive me do it for yourself) Im not saying those people werent necessarily doing something wrong, but i cant see the point of pulliong someone over everytime they go 2 miles over the speed limit. I just dont think that a town this size needs as many cops as we have. I also think they are a huge part of where all the money from CSU goes. Im just tired of being scared to drive home at night even when im dead sober, tired of not even being able to have a SOBER hangout with friends because i know the cops are going to show up. It all just makes me feel like they have nothing better to do, which proves to me that there are just too many in the first place.

I am pretty sure that you couldnt leave anything out after all those questions haha

I love CSU and have had an excellent experience here. I would reccommend it to anyone who wants to live in beautiful Colorado and go to a big university, but doesn't want to go to dirty, stuck-up, CU.

Please keep going to the excellent work .

CSU is founded on school spirit. I dont think I would have choose this school if it werent for the silly broucher with the screaming fans on it. Our teams arent that great(mostly because we dont have money) but sitting in the stands and cheering and shouting the fight song is a great thrill!

Colorado State is a place where I have spent the last four years of my life laughing, crying, making bad decisions, drinking too much, making lasting friendships, giving back to the community, and cheering for the Rams. For that I am eternally grateful for this school. I could have gone to college anywhere but I chose the place that I felt the most at home and feel I got the most out of my four years here.
