Concordia College is unique compared to other schools because of it's strive to send out educated and informed students into the world. The motto of Concordia College at Moorhead is to "BREW". "BREW" stands for "Becoming Responsibly Engaged in the World." As you enter college life here at Concordia, faculty and current students create an atmosphere that enhances character and responsibilty. The campus and community work together to help students become informed and consciencious individuals. Academically and socially, Concordia's students and faculty help you gain more knowledge on all aspects of life, to better enchance your own life!

Concordia has a huge alumni base. People feel a large connection to this school and even after they leave they still are included and involved.

The school's mission statement "To send forth into the world, thoughtful and educated young men and women dedicated to the Christian life" very much resonates with my own dreams and aspirations. I wish to make a difference in this world, and this college is a wonderful place to grow and live and learn. I'm not sure exactly where I am headed, but I know that God will surely lead me.

Well, for one thing, our mascot is a corn cob. That's pretty awesome I'd say. I guess other unique aspect is our tradition of wearing beanies (in our school colors) all throughout orientation which gives new students a sense of belonging as well as being a time honored tradition.

Concordia is less expensive than other small, private, Lutheran colleges. It is also known for its friendly, humble people and is such a cold place during the winter. There are no hills here, so people who can appreciate its beauty have a lot of character!
