The thing I tell my friends most about my school is the fact that it has a low tuition cost. However, even with that being said; for myself it's still a struggle to pay it out of pocket. The school finds ways to help you make the cost very affordable if you don't have any grants. Also, the main reason so I brag about the low cost of tuition is because of the awesome education you gain.
I'd say that the individual attention that a student receives at this university it outstanding. The faculty are friendly and almost always available to help in whatever way possible. They are down -to-earth but still creative people.
I love how friendly and down-to-earth the students and faculty are. I can see a professor at Wal-Mart and it doesn't seem weird at all. People are really quick to help if your lost or confused in class or with finding a class.
The friendships that I have made and the knowledge that the university has given me. The experiences here at Delta State University have given me a great preperation for life and what life has to offer.
I graduated with a 3.4 GPA. I played college softball and started majority of the time; My sofball team went to the Junior College World Series and placed 7th in the nation.
It is close to home and I can go home whenever I feel like it.
I tell them about the great music program that they have.
