Don't worry about you're appearance, or being accepted, or giving into peer pressure. The right group of friends will find you and you will ultimately be happy. You don't have to be someone you're not to have friends. Those who make you do things like that are not your friends!

What's unique about your campus?

The education program has great professors who are passionate about the field and have a lot of experience. They understand how students learn nest and display all types of teaching and learning in the classroom.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

A lot of classes are only offered once a year or there aren't enough classes to fill students needs. Graduation is pushed back for non traditional students who can't afford to quit a job to attend full time or have children at home.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

This school is a good choice for students who do not quite know what they want to major in yet. I started out as an undeclared major my first semester, and I have since changed my major to English/Writing. They give you until the end of your sophomore year before they tell you to change your major.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Look into a bunch of different colleges, and see what they offer. Compare colleges, and narrow down your choices. This will help you find the right school to attend.

There really is not to much uniqueness in our other than the people who go here

Do alot of research. Make sure your kid can find something that they will enjoy before they apply. Otherwise school can be a miserable time. If the student is unhappy, then learning won't happen and time and money will just be wasted.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The state of the residence halls, which go hand-in-hand with the meal plan. Residence Halls here have been shoddy for years, with broken furniture, dirty rooms, graffiti, broken kitchens, etc. The meal plan is also a rip-off, they charge you nearly $8 for a meal, and you have to pay extra for your drink. Oh, and you can only eat in certain time periods of the day to designate it as a "meal," or else you have to use your "flex."

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Anyone from a big city that doesn't understand the mindset of a small town and people from the country.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Students looking for a college to enroll in should research a number of different schools and visit as many of them as they can. Parents should be very supportive with what their children are doing. Prospective students should choose a school that has the best academic programs for the field of study that they plan on getting into. Find an atmosphere that you feel comfortable in; you will be spending a lot at college. Try and contact some faculty members and talk with them to see how accommodating they can be. Finally when you get to college make it a point to meet as many people as you can. Be open-minded to other peoples views, and enjoy life because the next four years go fast.

What kind of person should attend this school?

Edinboro is for focused, open-minded individuals that want to achieve in life.
