parking is hard to find

The parking situation and construction. It takes a while to find parlking and you have to get to school like 40 minutes before class.

The worst thing about my school is that sometimes the people working in the fianancial aid office can be a bit rude and impatient.

There is no place to study.

Not enough parking.

I truly cannot think of anything I would say is the worst thing about the school I have chosen, it seems to be a well rounded school and very well organized with a faculty that goes over and beyond to help.

Parking.

The worst thing about my school is the lack of school spirit. Noone is proud to say they go to FAU. This school is usually everyones second choice school and noone seems very enthusiastic about attending FAU.

The worst thing about FAU is that the typical college life is not what get. Most students show up and then leave, due that they work full time or that they just are not interested in a collegiate social life.

How small it is.

Florida Atlantic University is a great school; however, it does not offer enough international and study abroad programs. Internships are also a problem, since they must be attained solely on the student's efforts because the university lacks the appropriate contacts with labs and companies that could help make such efforts easier.

I do not see any aspect that can be considered a worse situation.

There are not enough classes with different times available to make it possible to keep a job.

A majority of the professors grade mostly by midterm and final grades with less attention given to attendance, group work, papers, ect. I believe this does not represent the students accurately and would like to see this problem changed.

it's a commuter school so no one is around on the weekends.

It's difficult to find parking. I think more student attend this school than was anticipated.

The worst thing about Florida Atlantic University is their timing of Financial Aid disbursement. It is given a few weeks into the semester. This makes it difficult for anyone who depends on that money to pay for their tuition or books. In my situation, I usually end up having to pay it with my own money which defeats the purpose of having Financial Aid. It is meant to ease the cost burden, not add to it.

There is never enough parking spaces available.

The worse thing about my school is it's lack of technology in the Geoscience department.

I think that the worst thing would be one or two of the professors that I have had. They just seem so out there and not really wanted to teach and let the students understand what is going on.

My school often does not have the classes I want in the time period I want. I also wish that there were more online classes offered, as I enjoy taking online classes, but there are none that I can take required for my major offered.

There are so many activities and clubs on campus, at times it is good because of all of the diversity. There is not a lot of school spirit becasue there is so much going on.

That they do not try to help students as they should, that they are just doing their job and forget that when you go for help is because you really needed. I had a terrible experience with the Dean assistant back in May of 2008. at the Port saint Lucie Campus.

We don't have a stadium or greek housing.

Most students just go here to party. I have come across many students who seem to not care about academics at all.
