Indiana University's staff and administration are extremely helpful. Getting administrative tasks completed are tedious and difficult. IU makes it easy.

The campus is old enough to have character but modern enough to be technologically sound. The area around campus is warm and welcoming to students from all over the country and the world. We have students from the east coast, the west coast, other countries and right here in the midwest. My grandparents attended and so did my mother so there is a lot of family history at IU Bloomington as well.

This school has a lot more diversity than other schools I looked at and it also has more classes to choose from.

At Indiana University your a hoosier, nothing compares to being in the hoosier family. Hoosiers are caring, successful, goal oriented people that wont step on others to get to the top. However they will reach the summit, but without putting others down.

Indiana University has a campus that sets it apart from most other midwestern schools, and I feel that it sets it apart from our Big 10 rivals. Our campus is full of trees and natural beauty and the Jordan River (it's the size of a creek) runs right through it, and it is more beautiful than any other college campus I've visited. IU also is more diverse than the other schools I considered in the sense that there is a higher percentage of out-of-state students here than at the other schools I considered.

What really set Indiana University apart from other schools for me and ultimately led me to choose this school over the others I applied to, was the landscaping of the campus. I really appreciate the amount of lanscaping that goes on here compared to other schools. No matter what the season, the campus is always beautiful. It really makes walking to class much more enjoyable.

Indiana University offered everything I was looking for in a school; a large student population, out of state but not too far from home, and a beautiful campus. The Greek community also makes this campus unique because they are so involved in everything that goes on. I ejoyed joining a sorority and taking advantage of the memories and experiences that followed.

This campus is so extremely diverse, not only in the students, but the extracarricular activities and fields of study offered. All of that added with the great sports rivalries, world renowned music school, and many traditions, makes IU extremely unique.

The most unique aspect of IU is that once you step on campus you immeditialy start to feel as if you are entering a new home for yourself. The buildings and atmosphere gives you a sense that you are becoming apart of one of the greatest college campus with the longest lasting tranditions in the USA.

IU!!! One of the best schools in the nation without a doubt, a home to the prestigious Kelly School of Business, the number 2 Public Affairs School in the nation - the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). The number one school to go to if one is interested in the military, IU is home to the number one ROTC program in the nation.

Indiana University felt like home to me from the first time that I visited, during my sophomore year of high school. When it came time for me to apply to colleges, I had already more or less made a decision. Everything is wonderful here--the professors truly care about their students and the variety of classes has allowed me to study things that I truly enjoy.

My school is a "melting pot" of people from all over the world. We are all able to be happy with each other and have a good time studying and going out at night with no problems. I feal like 90{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the students on campus are accepted by any given person.

I love the diversity at IU and also the campus in general. Although it is very large, the landscape and bulidings are beautiful which makes me proud to go here. Also, it is a hard school to get into; the standards seem to be raised every year.

IU has the perfect combinationan of an art school within a larger college, in great medium-sized, friendly town, with great people everywhere.

Most everyone is very friendly, and the city of Bloomington is focused around the college and students. Everyone seems so proud of this school :)

I don't care that my school isn't in a big city, because I'm still getting an amazing education and having a great time, and that's what you're supposed to do in college. I love my school.

When you turn 21, be sure to head to Nick's and play sink the biz. Go to the upstairs and have an AMF. Adios Mother F---er! Then, when you're good a drunk, head over to kilroys and pick out a sorority gal to take home for night!!! Be sure and call a cab though, and wrap it up, better safe than sorry times two.

Visit Indiana University (Bloomington) and you will not be let down. Bloomington is an amazing and diverse town and to top it all off, it offers a fantastic education.

I love IU because it has helped me grow as a student and as an individual. I'm learning and experiencing things here that are as fun as they are valuable.

Why are there no cute girls in the music school?! Grrrrr. Every time I walk by buisiness or kinesiology or speach and hearing theres all this cute girls walking around... but none in the music school! I guess you can't both make art and be art.

I assume if you're reading this, you're way too young to drink and are considering Indiana University as your college of choice. I can't speak for any other field, really, but if you're at all interested in the creative arts as a career some day...I really really suggest you seriously consider Indiana University. It's treated me incredibly well over these last three years and I can honestly say that this place has had an unimaginably good influence on the person I've come to look in the mirror every morning.

The best thing you can do at IU or any college is open up and not be reserved the friends you make are awesome and they help you get through stuff and you get to be there for them as well.

IUB is an amazing school. It has everything-- gorgeous campus, great social scene, nationally noted academics and countless successful alumni, etc. It has everything you could ever want in a college experience. There is no doubt that there is a place for everyone at IU to be happy. If if you don't like big schools, you can make it feel small. The only thing I wish IU had was more science-related clubs and organizations, but that's why I love SOS :) But when I say it, I mean it. IU has something for EVERYone!

Don't go here unless you have excellent scholarships or a lot of money and unless you know you can afford all of the hidden fees.

The food is terrible.

Although partying is a big part of IU, there is a lot more fun stuff to do. But getting fucked up and going to basketball and football games is great. IU was the perfect school for me.

The party scene at IU is right up there at the top with Wisconsin. While this is a research institution, with 36,000 students it's hard not to have a crazy night life. Of course as an RA last year, I got to see the pitfalls of excessive partying: alcohol poisoning, arrests, and drunk streaking. In the fall, tailgating at the football games is probably the best experience. In the spring, Little 500 weekend is the best weekend of the entire year.
