I think my school is best known for V.E.I.S.H.A. It is a campus wide party that happens in spring semester. There is live entertainment, food and other events. Students show up to class drunk and don't take anything seriously all that week.

Iowa State is best known for its engineering program. The school offers I believe 13 different engineering majors, including the major I am studying, construction engineering. This major is hard because not many schools offer it. In addition to the wide variety of majors, the college of engineering here at Iowa State stresses research. If a student is looking for research opportunities, they can find them pretty easily at Iowa State.

My school is best known for the Agriculture and Engineering programs available. It is also know for the vast variety of clubs and organizations as well as the first land grant school in Iowa.

The school is best known for its reputation in the areas of Engineering and Veterinary Medicine. From a non academic stance the school is best know for VEISHEA, the annual celebration held each spring on campus.

At first I honestley had no idea though after completing my first year I realized that our school is pretty well know for engeneering. It definetley is not my feild of choice though we are highly ranked in the nation being among the top five best choices for our programs. Other than that I have spoken to many peole about my school and almost everyone says that the people on our campus are among the nicest they have ever met. They also seldom fail to speak on our campus and how nice, clean, and peaceful our campus looks.

Iowa State is best known for its Chemistry professors, Vet- Med School, and it's animal science courses. It also well known for its engineering courses. Iowa State was where the rice krispy treat was invented. Iowa State also helped in designing the atomic bomb.

We make fantastic strives in the science of agriculture and our ability to create mindful and knowledgeable farmers and agronomists. We boast a competitive and rigorous engineering program that fosters many industry leaders. We are also known for our great history. From the invention of the first computer to the Manhattan project and being home to a Nobel Laureate in chemistry.

Get invloved as soon as people. The sooner you get involved, the more you will enjoy Iowa State and the better chance you will have at succeeding here. Find a good group of people who have similar goals and morals as you. Work hard and study effectively, but remember to have fun along the way because it goes by fast. And most importantly, be yourself!

Iowa State University is where the first computer was build. It is known for its science, engineering, and technical programs. It also has an outstanding human sciences college and is popular for its Veternary school. Iowa State was also nominated for best upset at this year's Espy's for our football win over Oklahoma State.

Iowa State University is best known for being a great all-around. When I think of Iowa State, I think of a traditionaly college campus. Everyone at Iowa State is there to make sure that you succeed, both recieving your major and preparing you to be successful for the rest of your life. Iowa State is also known for getting students involved in its many clubs and other event. At Iowa State you will learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing it.

Iowa State University is best known for their engineering and ag majors. What most people don't realize is that we also have many other really good majors. For instance, I am in the Biology program, and I have found that it is an excellent major at Iowa State. We're also known for our sports and Jack Trice Stadium and the Hilton Colliseum. This year, you could say that we're known for beating Iowa, Northern Iowa, and the then 5th ranked Oklahoma State in football.

We are well known for being a research-focused university with lots of school spirit! When I first arrived, I though all the school spirit was a little cheesy, but I realize that it's true. ISU is one of the best places around, and people deserve to know that!

We are known as a ag school and an engineering school. We have a reputation as "hicks." we're the farm kids. But we're also known to be a really good school.

We are really well known for our engineering school. Like over half the people at this school are majoring in engineering. We also have a very good pre-vet program here.

Being in the marching band, I think we're best known for having the best fans. Students support the team not because they are die hard fans, but because when you go here you belong to the team. A cyclone becomes your identity. We are resiliant when we lose and support our teams and school through thick and thin.

ISU is best known for its engineering program and countless research opportunities for students. They are known by their students fot the dedication to student's academic success, there are many programs available for students struggling with classes - Supplemental Instruction, tutors, graduate student help hours, and ofcourse the actual professors are alway there to help us out. It is extremely encouraging knowing my university actually cares about me and my success. I love that ISU perfectly combines traditional with modern, as can be seen in the classrooms and even in the buildings.
