Clubs/activities, the friendly atmosphere

I brag most about the great campus. I love my room and gloat about my 4 man suite. The places to eat are outstanding and have great varitey and you honestly don't need a car while you're here. The Cyride can take you just about anywhere. One of the greatest attibutes of this school is the clubs and activities you can get into. They have a huge variety and I even plan to start some martial arts clubs without any previous experience.

My school is the best college ever. The academics are outstanding, and the extracirriculars are awesome. I have so much fun there; never a dull moment. Since my major is Agriculture, this college is the right place to be. Iowa State University is often called the "Harvard" of Agriculture. The career fairs are phenomenal, and I couldn't ask for a better way to network with future employers. I'm proud to be a cyclone.

I brag about the diversity of the activites that Iowa State has given me the opportunity to participate and become active in. Through the many experiences provided by Iowa State, I have had many opportunities to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in ways that I would never had been able to otherwise. Iowa State has allowed me to participate in events that I never would have dreamed of before and meet several wonderful and amazing people.

I brag about what classes Im taking and how I'm doing in them because im the only engineer from my class. I'm from a very small school and most of my friends are doing community college or other types of education, law for example is one.

Iowa State University has an extensive variety of higly ranked nationally recognized majors and minors taught by superior educators for a bargain price.

Iowa State has a lot of school spirit, and you can determine your adventure. There are so many opportunities to get involved in different clubs and activites. There is never a dull moment on campus during the school year. Also the job market is very competitive, and Iowa State not only prepares you for that, but they have businesses that come in looking for students from here. Iowa State has some of the best networking opportunities if you choose to get involved.

When I tell my friends about Iowa State the one thing I brag about to them is how good the engineering programs are. I'm sure Iowa State's other progams are pretty good too but because I'm an engineering major it's usually the first thing I mention.

How beautiful the campus is in the fall and winter, I enjoy the campus the most during those two seasons. I also like how many activities the college has and contributes to the students. VEISHEA is also a very great thing about this campus that not only involves the students and faculty but the general public as well, it is a great time for everyone!

The ecology of the school, it is a beautiful campus and environmental friendly. The bus system is great for students and reduces air pollution for the town of Ames.

All the great opportunities bestowed upon me, and all my success. How I am president of my dorm and how I am apart of a great community. I always make sure to mention our great wrestling team and our womens basketball team. Also how we have a great tradition known as VEISHEA. I also mention how we have the largest career fair in the nation, and our high retention rate. How we have a great job placement rate at about eighty percent six months after graduation.

I get good grades, the professors are easy to get along with, and the campus is beautiful.

Iowa State's campus is absolutley beautiful. I remember how amazed I was when I toured the campus. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and that helped me choose which school was best for me. All the people I met with on my tour were so helpful and I felt that If I came to this school, I would get all the direction I needed to succeed, but still have fun.

Iowa State has many resources available to students. Although it is a large university, incoming freshman have it easier than one might think. From Destination Iowa State and helpful orientations to student counseling services and the friendly students and staff, both new and returning students have the help they need to be successful. One of the most helpful services at Iowa State is the Dean of Students office; this program includes things like student support services, recreation services, scholarships, and the academic success center.

The bus system and ease of class!

The amount of practicum and in-classroom experience we get as undergraduate students in the early childhood education program.

There are many activities to do at Iowa State University including bowling at the Memorial Union, Various Intramural sports, Free concerts and movies on campus. Most of the academic advisors are fun and flexible they also are very helpful in keeping you on track to graduating and helping you decide what to major in. Most of the teachers here love teaching and are helpful. There are lots of clubs to join on campus and if you cannot find one that you are interested in you can start your own.

When I tell others about my school I brag about the traditions, the class sizes and my experiences that i am having attending while attending.

I tell them that at Iowa State it is impossible to fail. We have programs and learning communities that will help you succeed. We also have supplemental instruction classes for all the classes we take, and we also have free tutors. I brag that it is close to impossible to fail here.

There are so many ways to get involved, and many opportunities to get free or cheap stuff! There are free movies outside, dollar bowling, crazy fun clubs and intramurals, and a great student atmosphere. The campus is also gorgeous; there are trees everywhere! It is also easy to get wherever you want to go when you want to go there because the campus is quite centralized and the busing system, CYride, has a route for every need, whether you need to go across campus or to downtown Ames. In just a word, Iowa State is AMAZING!

I tell my friends that my school is very prestigious, has tremendous school spirit, and is a very career-focused and successful school.

It's a beautiful, small college town atmosphere, and everyone here is so friendly and helpful. From the staff to fellow students, they are always willing to help you out and answer questions. If they don't know the answer, they point you in the right direction to someone who does know the right answer.

Lots of activites for all types of people and many study groups to participate in to help with study habits. There are lots of food choices in a variety of buildings.

There are great number of clubs on campus (over 200) for any number of different interests, including groups designed to help people academically. These 'Learning Communites' go beyond the conventional university and put students taking the same coursework together with students a few years ahead in order to help them along. Adding to this is the undeniable beauty of the land-grant institution: I have found that there is nothing makes doing homework easier or more relaxing than doing it outside somewhere on campus. I can never explain how happy I am with every facet

The campus is big. People are nice. Classes are fun and interesting. Teachers are very helpful. Housing is great.

How big and diverse it is. You can pretty much find any place to study that is quite, without having a ton of people around to bother you. Plus, the diversity here is amazing. We have a ton of different cultures meshing together here, and that makes the campus that more unique.

I tell my friends about how my dorm room is so big. Compared to other dorm rooms that I've seen from other schools these rooms are nice and big. I like to tell them about how pretty the campus is; it's very scenic with even a river running through it. What makes me appreciate this campus even more is that it's a smoke free campus, so the smell of smoke doesn't take away from the beauty of the campus.

I brag about the people I have met when I tell my friends about my school. A lot of the people I have met at Iowa State are very friendly and are willing to help you if you have questions. The professors are very down to earth yet professional at the same time. The community advisors treat you like a friend instead of a hassle. This is why I brag about the people I have met. They have made a significant impact on my life.

How everything is close everything is in-relation to campus. Also the atheltics and fan support

I brag most about the diverse activities and clubs Iowa State has to offer. ISU has pretty much any club you can think of whether it's learning to snowboard or learning the strategic skills of chess. I was ecstatic when I found out ISU had a boxing club and was happy I could continue training. I also signed up for the rugby club, which I could say I was hesitant at first, but I've enjoyed it so far. So, when talking to my friends about ISU, I brag about the numerous and diverse clubs ISU offers.

I like to brag that ISU presents many options to students. Clubs and organizations abound to help you get to know yourself and others better. When coming from a very small town, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the number of students on campus. However, once you get into your academic career you see people you know frequently. In fact, it is hard to walk across campus without saying hi to at least ten people during the fifteen minute walk.

This school has something for everyone. The social scene is excellent, everyone seems to get along, the greek community is strong and acive on campus, classes are challenging without being impossible, and the campus is beautiful. The town of Ames is an ideal college town, with a nice campustown, a good selection of restaurants and bars, and has a true community feel.

I always talk about how much school spirit there is here. Iowa State Students have great school spirit. We love our sports teams, and gamedays in Ames are amazing. Out in the community when I'm working, I tell people I go to Iowa State, and its a great conversation starter. This town is very accomodating to the students here. I grew up in Ames, but being at Iowa State makes me look at the town in a whole new way.

The football stadium, the new addition on the Veterinarian School, and my really nice two story apartment. Also, the campus has a lot of trees which I really like.

It's a big school with a very diverse student population, so no one has any incentive to be who they're not, there's something for everyone. You can be as involved as you want or not involved at all. The campus is beautiful and easy to navigate, especially considering 25,000+ students go here.

How much fun I have on campus with my friends, and also the joy I get from my field of study.

The main thing I brag about when speaking with my friends about Iowa State is our beautiful campus. Iowa State's nearly 2000 acres has a perfect balance of open green space and architecturally diverse buildings. We have many different programs to keep campus clean and environmentally friendly. Our campus is not cluttered with parking ramps and roads; therefore Iowa State's campus feels more like a home than an institution. Students take pride in where they live; therefore we strive to have a immaculate, homely, picturesque campus.

I'm a member of a student group called The Salt Company. It's a student ministry through Cornerstone Church of Ames. The Salt Company has changed my life and really helped me stay on a path that is pleasing to the Lord. Through it I've made some of the greatest friends a person could have and am dating an amazing girl I met at TSC.

The campus is beautiful. Hands down my favorite aspect. Academically, the Advertising program is an accredited program, requiring a 400 hour internship to graduate. I think requiring an internship in your field of major is vital.
