some folks are inherently more open minded than others. if ithaca seems cool to you, it definitely is. if it doesn't, don't come here. if you're not sure, give it a shot. see what there is to do. there are a lot of different people with a lot of different interests. i'm glad i attended ithaca college, and you might be too.

Ithaca is not as good as it makes it self out to be. Students need to know what they are getting into.

You know i never saw that movie, "say anything". I always figured i should watch it just because of the part where John Cusack stands outside the girls house with the boombox, but seriously i mean since thats the only lasting moment of that movie, why not just shorten the movie to ten minutes. Just show the girl the guy is in love with, then have him to the boombox thing, and then the movie is over, everyone gets the jist, and saves the 7 bucks on the movie. haha. So anything else, hmmm. nope. I've made a fool out of myself enough. bye bye.

Ithaca needs to start accepting less students each year so that housing will be less of an issue. That's a good thing, Ithaca!

Housing is a big thing on campus that is really expensive so a lot of people move off campus. Students don't realize how much poverty is in the surrounding area and many times think that they should be catered too (Cornell does this more). Too many college students but the city of Ithaca is amazing. In the summer when students are gone there is so much to do and less people in your way - AMAZING!

very homey, small school with advantages of a big school as an underclassman, it can be hard to get into classes that are needed for your major sometimes

If you are looking at the music school I highly suggest using hte dean's host program and seeing what a 9-6 day looks like.

Great place. A shitload of natural beauty in the area. The school is adding new buildings as well. Res Life is kind of sucky in that dogs/cats not allowed anywhere and they can be stupid strict at times.

College students need to stop being thought of as intelligent human beings. They have enough they need to figure out.

I love Ithaca, but is is SO expensive, and is very stingy with giving out money, and never has snow days, and needs an Athletic Center (they are in the process of raising money for one now)

Ithaca is full of people who this: "HI how are you?" "Good how are you? "Good" i don't know if that is common in other schools but it is very prevelent here.

Ithaca College is truly a place where you can find your place on campus and stand out. There are so many opportunities to contribute and become involved as well as learn new things each day. The people you meet are truly the friends you will keep after you graduate and instead of making college something to just get through in order to get a job, you really make a life here in your 4 years. There is no question that Ithaca was the right choice for me, and that is after I was so set on going to Northeastern University in Boston since I was 12. Yes, the schools are night and day and the reason I chose Ithaca is because the moment I stepped on the campus I felt at home. The students are welcoming, the faculty are caring and interested and the overall environment is warm and accepting. There is not more you can ask of a college. And the way you can really tell how much I love this school is how highly I talk about it despite the troubles I have met in my own major. I LOVE journalism and I have an amazing passion for it, but most of the classes and professors I have had in my major have been much lower than I expected. But the school is working hard to turn this experience around for my peers and me and Ithaca as a whole has made up for the frustrations I have met. Ithaca College is my home and the people here have become my family; I have no regrets in the choice of college I made and I'm pretty sure most people here would say the same thing. Go Bombers :)

Ithaca is so diverse in activities and interests...but it's stereotypes do have some basis and Ithaca's students often embrace our stereotypes and laugh!
