What is the stereotype of students at your school?

I think that Ithaca College is stereotyped as being a school full of pot-smoking hippies.

A stereotype about the town of Ithaca is that its an insanely liberal town, whose community members are all hippies and communists. A primary stereotype about Ithaca students is that they are wealthy, snobby east coast-ers who don't truly care about their education and are only here to party.

Ithaca is definitely seen as a liberal campus with active and involved students. Ithaca itself has sometimes been described as hippy central and the town has been compared to Woodstock before. The college is also known for its great communications school and its broad network of alumnis.
