My school is a great school to attend if you are a working student or a parent. They offer many classes in every field during different times throughout the day and week. This way the students don't feel limited and won't miss out on the classes they would like to take. They just started midnight madness classes this semester to accomodate for those people who are busy throughout the day. Some do not like to take online courses and would rather be taught in person. That's why these midnight classes are beneficial.
Your education doesn't have to cost a fortune, thanks to Ivy Tech Community College. You can earn your college degree for less than $6,000 - that is less than $3,000 a year. With credits that transfer to four-year schools throughout Indiana, you can get a head start on your bachelor's degree . Or start your career in as little as two years. Workers with an associate degree earn an average of $7,000 more than those with just a high school diploma. Ivy Tech allows you to make the most of your time and your money. .
I like that there is a great diversity of ages and race here at Ivy Tech, and it is not uncommon for someone I don't know to talk to me, or for me to reach out and talk to someone I don't know. I also really like the classes, since they are challenging and push my to learn and think critically about the area that I'm studying. I have been to other schools where the classes are too easy and I pass them without feeling like I learned something.
The best characteristic I admire about my school is the program itself. Students at Ivy tech are able to test the waters of college life. What's also great is you can attend for a much more affordable cost. It's a great way to get your general educational courses out of the way for when, or if, you choose to transfer, you'll be good and set to move forward.
The best thing about Ivy Tech is that it give students a good start in vocational pursuits. It offers certificates as well as degrees which is very good for most students. It also allows you to springboard into an university. Most of all, the cost is just right. You get good value in terms of cost compared to most schools.
I think the best thing is that they have a wide variety of classes to offer and also flexable scheduling. The reason I think they are the best is because it gives me a better idea of what I want to take and it also allows me to go school while my child also attends school so I do not have to get a sitter.
How easily credits transfer in between universities from Ivy Tech. It is great having state community college because it feels geared towards both getting an Associate degree and transferring to get your Bachelor's degree. I feel the focus on success and it is very rewarding.
How flexible the school is and the fact there are students of all ages. I don't think you should ever stop learning. I am still able to work full time, have a life and get good grades while I am getting the experience I need.
I think thier medical program is very comprable to the more costly universities. The credits can be transferred and the cost is much lower and the classes time are flexible they have several times to choose from
Affordability. It only cost approximately $2000 for a semester of tuition, fees, and books. That helps to considerably cut down on the size of student loans and lower the amount of post-education debt.
