The Kind of person who should not attend this school is someone who is very lazy because the classes can be very far apart and you have to be willing to walk the distance in the time allowed between classes.

LIberals should not attend this school. I only say this because there are a lot of free spirits, a lot of LGBT supporters and non-traditional students. For extreme liberals this could cause a lot of problems.

To be perfectly honest, anyone and everyone can find a place at Kent State and feel welcome. The campus is very accepting of all races and ethnicities, all religions, and alternative lifestyles. Students can find organizations that respect and promote their values and beliefs. Student Accessibility Services allows students equal access to education as well. No one is left out.

This school is open to all types of students. I wouldn't rule out anyone.

The person who should not attend this college if they need an adult to "hold their hand" all the time or if they can't be independent motivated. They are not organized and self motivated. Kent state is a good place to go if you are willing to put in the work and not make poor decisions.

If you can't handle the idea of setting your own schedule, or you can't decide if you'd prefer Stir Fry or pizza for lunch, then I would not recommend Kent State. Kent's Campus is huge, filled with plenty of choices that you'll have to make whether it's organizations or classes. You just have to be descisive and ready to step out of your comfort zone to succeed here, for everything else you would need is just a call or a check on the website away.

I can not think of anyone who can not fit in here. I used to be quiet and to myself now im more social and ended up loving this college. Everyone can find friends here there is a lot of diversity in this school. Also there is a lot of activites that people can do here to get involved and make friends.

Students who are interested in Fashion, Architecture, Business, Pschology, and Sociology Programs should definitely come to Kent State University. Or, if you're a student looking for a school with decent dorms rooms and a nice sized campus, Kent State would be good for you as well.

I do not think that anyone should not attend this school, it's all about being comfortable, and Kent is a very comfortable place to live and learn.

Honestly, I think that most anyone could find something about KSU that they would enjoy. There are many different activities, music (with artists in residence Miami String Quartet!) and art departments, a wonderful recreation center, amazing trails to walk (they even have a bog with prehistoric plants), a quaint little downtown area, fraternities and sororities, strong colleges of nursing and architecture, and many fantastic and enthusiastic students and professors willing to help out. It is a campus that is full of conservative and liberal people.

I dont really think any person should not attend this school. I think we all have a good chance of success here as long as you try hard and show up for class.

Those who should not attend Kent State are those who are academically competitive. Even though the university has many good programs, academically most students do not try. The class size dramically drops from freshman to sophmore, as well as sophmore to junior status. This size decrease is due to many reasons such as lack of attendence, failing grades, or even some are dismissed. This is not a school for someone very academically focused.

I do not think there is a set category of people that should not attend Kent State. Kent is a very diverse campus; Kent accommodates for the disabled and help those needing more of a challenge in classes; and Kent has average people. Also, there are very many strong programs, ranking high on the national list, including Nursing and Fashion. Kent is normally known as a ‘party school,’ but sure, a lot of people go out but not everyone has to. More people stay in than go out in general. Kent is a great school that anyone would fit into.

Everyone kind of person should attend this school. There is nothing holding anyone back from this school. Every person should be allowed to make their own choice on the school they wish to attend.

The people who shouldn't attend Kent State Univeristy are people who are lazy. Our college slogan is, "Excellence in Action", which is very true. Kent State University has so many opportunities in every field and students from around the world attend Kent State for our amazing programs. Kent State University, to me, is a very serious and hard-working college. We get reminded to keep up our grades, our advisors are very involved with us, and the people here are very friendly. People who are lazy and don't want to put in the effort would miss out.

Anyone who is not ready for college should not attend. You have to be focused and have the motivation to attend college. If a senior from high school is slacking off and just barely making it through school, coming to Kent State right after is not a good idea.

I think that there is no one person that shouldn't attend this school. It has a great atmosphere and their is a place for eveyone to fit in.

Because the campus is so large and there are a lot of students on campus day-to-day, I would say that you should not attend Kent State if you are looking for a more personal, intimate setting in which to learn. Students who are shy or who do not like crowds wouldn't do well at the Kent State main campus.

People who are not willing to learn from professors or other students in their classes should not attend Kent State. Also, people who are not willing to challenge and refine their own ways of thinking while also critiquing and evaluating information should not go to Kent.

I think that all people should be able to attend school as long as they have the drive to do it.

Students who find it hard to stay focused when there is a lot going on around them should not attend Kent State. Also, students who are very conservative may find it hard to fit in at Kent State.

Many people think "Kent State 1970, party school." That is not true at all. Kent State is not a "party school" it is somewhere to go when you want to push yourself to be the best and learn the most.

There's no one who should not attend school. Everyone has the ability to work hard and try to succeed. Kent has great tutoring programs, for those who have a hard time in school and great mentoring programs for those who need help staying on track. College can be for anyone if they put their mind to it. If you're looking for a small campus, Kent State might not be the best choice, but it has housing communities that help it feel close knit.

The type of pperson that should attendthis school is the type that is excited to live life and to have fun while at the same time keeping a their priorities of learning on track.

Non-open minded people will find this school difficult. Those who come in with a specific idea of the school and are unwilling to change or adapt as they attend the school will find that most students and staff here tend to be very open minded and even indirect at times.

A person who easily gets influenced by the wrong crowd. Kent is a big school and partying does happen, you have to be a strong person to stand your ground and be able to stay focused on school work. A lazy person would also fall into the trap of partying and playing video games all day instead of doing school work.

People who are not open minded and accepting should not attend this school because of how diverse the students on this campus are.

I think everyone deserves to attend a school and get an education. If they don't want to try then they won't continue on. Everyone deserves a chance to learn and grow as a person.

Our school is very diverse and tends to have great opportunities for just about everyone. The activities and clubs available seem almost endless. Even for thos estudents who may feel more like an outcast there is something they can get involved with. Also there are offices and programs that are available to help those students who do happen to feel this way.

Personally, I think that any type of student could fit in at Kent State University. It is a very diverse college, and it does a great job of helping all kinds of student succeed in what ever they want to do.
