What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Cory

Its very important to visit the campus first, because if you hate the campus its going to be hard to want to be at school. Also, do lots of research on the school's website first to find out if they have activities on campus that you are interested in, such as sports, choirs, dance...ect. Also, if possible email or talk to in person someone who is an advisor for the major you want to go into. I talked to a Biomedical Sciences advisor before I came to MU and leared about the classes and what I would be doing, and that really helped me with my decision. Also if your school is in kind of a rough area of town, like Marquette is, make sure your parents (who i am sure will be very concerned) learn about the saftey stuff that is provided on campus.
