MTSU is a very diverse University with many choices for majors. The area around the University gives the student lots of choices for things to do on their off days. The extracurriculur activities offered by the many clubs that are on campus give students many ways to keep busy and meet new friends to help study for classes. Meeting new friends for life will be easy as you learn your new career. The quality of education is one of the best in Tennessee. The University strives to find the best Professors in the field.

The best thing about my school is its student and faculty relationship. Its very important that students have professors who are equally concerned about their education just as much as they are about earning a degree. Every professor I have had has made it the business to make themselves accesible at all times. They have stayed after class and even given out their personal mobile phone numbers. They have made our learning environment a very positive place to be in and that is very important when you are learning so many new things.

The best thing about my school is the advising office. So many people come to college, and they have no idea of what type of major they desire. Well, the advising office has a great staff that encourages you and helps you realize your strenghts and weakness's to help determine a major for you.

The best thing about my school is the civilized people here. There are not any unnecessary arguements like I experienced at another school. Everyone is nice and respectful and very welcoming.

I think the best thing about my school is the location! It's close and convenient to where i grew up. Although the town has seen rapid growth it retains some of it's small town ideals. It's located in a beautiful part of the state and the prices are affordable.

The vast amount of diversity and the life experience that brings is certainly one of the most alluring aspects of MTSU. Through my courses and activities, I meet someone different every day. It is eye opening; all forms of and angles to opinions clashing together to work for that greater good. Clashing is poor word choice. It is more of a symbiois, a mutual need for different views. MTSU is like the world at large on a representative level. I can't think of a better place to learn.

THe caring people

The most common major here is one for the Recording Industry. It's a good program and naturally it attracts a lot of musicians. Being a musician myself it's nice having so many people around who care as much about creative energy as I do. Playing music seems like an easy way to get this review sorted into the "seen this before" pile, but it really is the best part about the school.

The best thing about MTSU would have to be the diversity. There are people from all walks of life, all religions and ethnicities, and we all work together all the time. The faculty is just as diverse as the students! For the most part, people seem to feel at home and not singled out for their background. This diversity helps everyone relate to one another in ways they hadn't before, to widen their horizons and learn about others. I think this is an important aspect for any community, and particularly useful for our futures.
