There does seem to be a lack of school spirit. Students are excited to attend sporting events and do participate in a variety of intramurals, clubs, organizations, etc..; however, compared to larger universities, student pride seems to be diminished. It is not uncommon to see students walking on campus with rival university clothing. Although, many activities have started to be implemented to increase student support and exuberance for their school. It may just take time to become more widespread.

The worst part about NAU is the Greek life due to excessive drinking and partying. Whether it be off campus or on campus, there is always something going on.

The worst part about my school is that parking is very little and you are only allowed to park in the designated area that you buy your parking pass for and they way over priced.

There aren't many elective classes available.

I attend NAU - Yuma. Yuma is a growing city so the campus itself is located in the middle of homes. In addition, there are few programs available to offer students. In addition, the campus is divided with Arizona Western college.

Work is limited, and often the weather is a burden

i would consider the worst part about NAU is the neighborhoods surrounding NAU. It is scary to walk through them, they are also very run down.

The worst thing about my school would have to be that there weren't enough sports and that there was a lack of diversity when i attended. I wanted to opportunity to be around people of a more diverse ethnic backgrounds and I wanted to view and maybe even participate in some sports that were not offered.

The library isnt open 24 hours, it closes at midnight during the week and at 6 on the weekends.

Hardly an awful thing, the worst thing is the weather. I'm not a big fan of snow, or the cold.

I would consider the worst thing about my school the lack of food choices. I feel so bored with the food. Also, they dont seem very calorie friendly...

The worst part about my school from my personal experience is the art program. I am an art major and there is little emphasis on the art program. There is strong support for the arts in this community, especially in the jewlery and ceramics area, as well as music. However teh painting, drawing adn printmaking programs get somewhat left behind as far as courses offered.

Personally I only enjoy the snow recreationally, ie snowboarding/skiing. It is not fun walking to class in a blizzard...
