The student body, because it consists of a bunch of disinterested teenagers who have no clue about what life is going to dish out to them, and they're squandering their opportunity to gain a valuable education.
The worst thing about the school is the extremely conservative politcal climate. I'm not opposed to there be conservative opinions. It's just that it seems to be the dominant and only way of thinking at school.
When applying for colleges, many people said starting with a community college is a financial advantage over those who go straight to a 4-year school. Then while attending the college, others give off the impression that a community college is a lesser education and which is why it is a financial advantage. I would rather not think of the level of education to be less, while attending.
The worst time about my school is nothing because everything is in order and the stuff are great. I'm a full-time student and I spent most of my time in school and every time I had any questions, advisors and teacher were friendly enough to help me out. I'm a person that likes to ask questions and upto right now they have answered each one and guided me in the right path.
The worst thing about my school is there is not a lot of parking spaces for students. I always have a hard time parking my car and when I finally do, it atkes me a long time just to get my classroom.
The worst thing about Ocean County College is the lack of support the college gives to low enrollment curriculums. For example, if you are looking to study engineering, you may find that the college fails to allow a course to proceed unless the enrollement meets a minimum criteria. This wouldn't be bad if you are a liberal arts major, but for technology, the low enrollment naturally means there will be difficulty for a class to meet the 10 student minimum. Thus the class gets cancelled and you are unable to complete the degree.
